what is /lgbt/'s opinion on alternative fashion?
>>42075140attention whores with no personality
based. the dude who made homestuck has an instagram where he dresses like this, 45 years old and looks fuckin hot
>>42075140Its certainly an alternative to being fashionable
Unfortunately I have to agree with anon, the best dressed people are often the most egregiously airheaded. Except Paco Rabanne. That dude wrote esoteric books even more kino than his signature fragrance.
>>42075140i think it's pretty cool but i think picrel looks kinda dumb. when you're pulling it off you look so awesome but when you're not you look like a clown. it can't just be different for the sake of being different it's gotta look good, and just happen to be nonconventional.
>>42075184>when you're pulling it off you look so awesome but when you're not you look like a clown. That's like every outfit ever, not just alt fashion or cosplay. People need to dress in ways that flatter them, rather than starting out with an idea of simply looking cool.
>>42075241yes
>>42075140Depends, I’d go full visual kei but I’m white
>>42075140I really like alternative fashion but most people can't pull it off so they end up looking tacky and ugly in the end
>>42075184>>42075377i think the broadness of different styles makes it so that no one really looks "good" at a base level. Some specific styles (eg. emo in the 2000s) have become quite popular, but still have a lot of critics because not everyone has the same taste. Trying to look "good" while still being alternative is basically impossible as the definition of "good" has so many different takes depending on who you ask. Point is, i think people should just become competitive narcissists and just start trying to stroke their own ego more than the other 20 million narcissists around them>>42075359who cares if ur white? start a vkei band NOW>>42075155>>42075163truth nuket. alt fashion enthusiast
>>42075140i want to get more into alt fashion as its the main way i'd like to dress, but haven't really been able to due to money (also i have no confidence and don't want to look like a hon)
>>42075140Depends. Picrel would be fine in like a goth rave or anime con or something, would look kinda comical walking around normally. But there's definitely some in-between that would work for day-to-day wear.>>42075454Nothing wrong with broadness of styles, people just have to appeal to people they like. But you have to look good to SOMEBODY in some context. A lot of alt queer people are shockingly unfashionable in any sense and wear unflattering clothing that just makes them look really ugly.
