huh that's not bad, it really hasn't gotten much longer since i was first looking into it then. i just hope they dont hate me for cancelling with sorta short notice this year looool i imagine the prices have gone up a bit too but i'll be taking out a loan for it anyway.

no it's definitely longer than 3 months now. i just got surgery with him in november and i still lurk the discord. ppl who contact now, once they're through the whatsapp hoops, are getting consults scheduled for May and June. granted there's some degree of randomness, you might get lucky and get a cancelation - i contacted in july, consult in august, surgery in november. but even then others in the discord were seething about how fast and lucky my turnaround was. his demand has probably doubled or more since then, the discord was around 250 members when i joined and it's at 630 now.. i would probably plan on a year from first contact to surgery at this point

oh and no, prices haven't risen much or at all. i think france has anti gouging laws (hearsay, but seems accurate given other french surgeons are around the same price) for this kinda thing and he can't raise prices significantly in a certain time period

thanks. i did already have the consult - two even technically - so i might be able to just schedule the surgery without having another one. we shall see. i dont mind if i have to wait a year because it might take me that long to secure funding anyway.

so i've seen a few ppl try to use their old quote after the 60 day period expired, i think it's literally just up to the whims of the whatsapp assistant. like some had to re-consult and others just got a surgery date offered. definitely worth a try but yea i wouldn't necessarily count on it. gl nona his surgical work is definitely worth the odd administrative setup he's got going

oh and if you're not aware, once you get offered a date you have to pay 30% of the surgeon's fee (ie, excluding anesthesia and hospital fee) to reserve the date. sorry if im info dumping and you already knew that but if you're planning on a loan and you're broke rn it's something to keep in mind. i don't think they make that clear before they're like give us money now

his waiting times seem completely arbitrary and random, my consultation was in January and I got my surgety in November. i guess I probably could have asked for an earlier date
