A United Church of Christ church in my area flies both the Pride flag and Christian flag together. I'm thinking of joining because of that. Anyone else thinking of joining churches if they flag the Pride flag?

>>42076910That's just a way to get you to join the congregation so they can gaslight & conversion therapy you. The ally stuff is more of a branding/marketing thing than a sign of support.
Yeah, I go to a church with a very active LGBT ministry and several pews full of gay and trans people. Some churches do fly the flag as bait and are actually dogshit but if you do some research you can find really wholesome communities. Even if you don't believe I highly recommend finding a LGBT group through a local church simply because picnics, ice cream socials, and stuff like that can be really pleasant.
>>42077555bullshit. the ucc is hyper-woke. its doing very poorly as a result. the best marketing economically for churches is being conservative. being liberal drives a core constituency away>>42077970lol i joined an elca campus ministry as an atheist and now i am le luderan
>>42076910if a religion doesn’t make you hate yourself it’s not a real religion imo

Some evangelical church have started flying the rainbow flag btw. There is a big divide atm in evangelical circles over this.

There is nothing in the Catechism of the Catholic Church forbidding wearing clothes or having interests of the opposite sex. The only thing sex is important for is having children.
