>>after about 5 years of socially transitioning, the vast majority of trans people disappear into cis society. >early transition communities are as a rule, toxic as fuck
>20+ trans people who all want a mentor
>sometimes a trans elder will help keep things stable sometimes it'll crash out with immense social violence

seems like a solid 3rd of the trans posters here know this already, so i'm mostly just posting to let the boymoders know that time pretending you're a boy doesnt count towards those 5 years

Sort of. In most instances, we don't really fully integrate, in the same way a cis person might.

the girl on the right is trans which is why she got approached
>>
>>42080602
i'm pretty sure that's the whole thing with trans optics
early transition twomen who haven't settled into their presentation are the most visible AND the most cringe
>>

thats true i bet. im just getting used to it. the first time someone was like "You're TRANS???? >:(" i got freaked out cuz i didnt feel like i was doing anything special but she acted like i tricked her

Graduation phenomenon
Those who can "move on" do
>>
>>42080878
i'd never heard that term before
>>
>>42080981
It's fairly niche
There's a reason the never passers tend to cloister in toxic discord groups

it's to do with how post-grads can assimilate into society and become normal adults but you'll always have those people who peaked in high school and as a result still act the same way at 40 as they did when they were 19.

>those people who peaked in high school and as a result still act the same way at 40 as they did when they were 19.
That's an incredibly vague way to describe the phenomenon, and due to cognitive biases you always have the people you are referring to, believe themselves to be the opposite and then use your example, ignorant of how little they've changed.
