A company has an operation where they split your work personality and home personality completely, with the work personality having minimal memories of the outside world and thus being pretty naiive and easily manipulated. Then they do data entry work and the personalities flip when they come and leave work via some machine in the elevator.
Then a ton of LOST-tier mystery boxes like goats being raised in the office that they sort of pretend will make sense someday but definitely won’t and were just put in for aesthetics

* I don’t care that there was eventually some half-assed explanation. If the explanation wasn’t already known by the writers when the INITIAL introduction of the visual is written, it’s a mystery box, and it’s garbage.
