>>42121427>trannies are just men>refuses to let us die in war
>>42121469The army has our backs at least. Gay men are too valuable to spend on wars
>>42121427Not letting trans women serve in the military is literally genocide.
>>42121427>armoids know everyone would get pozzed in the dont ask dont tell branch
Oh cool, now I get to hope against hope they drag their feet enough for me to finish my retraining and I can at least put that on my resume. At least I'll finally be able to grow out my fucking hair
>>42121495You think they value human life lol
>>42121469>>42121495>>42121658>>42121715>>42121718It's not a ban on transgenderism, it's a ban on gender dysphoria, which is a metal condition that requires consent care. The amount of meds and surgical requirements, along with blood testing and non-deployablity due to this is simply to much for the military to bare. It's similar to a ban on type 1 diabetes or autism. Trump is simply following the science. It has nothing to do with transphobia and everything to do with safe guarding our nation.
>>42122641>It's not a ban on transgenderism, it's a ban on gender dysphoria, which is a metal condition that requires consent care. The amount of meds and surgical requirements, along with blood testing and non-deployablity due to this is simply to much for the military to bareoh no, not the medical bills for around 4k people! however will the US military pay for this? they only got 840 billion dollars last year, that's truly a pittance.
>>42122687>4k people!Officially, some numbers put it at 15,000. That's alot.https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/27/us/politics/trans-troops-pentagon-figures.html>However will the US military pay for this? they only got 840 billion dollars last year, that's truly a pittance. So your in favor of wasteful spending? Also getting people with a mental condition who are far more likely to commit suicide and pumping them up with hormones and having to have dozens of surgeries that severely weaken and alter their body doesn't sound like a good idea.Nobody is saying trans people can't serve and serve honorably, what we want is that if you want to transition, you should do it after you leave the service.
>>42122745>Nobody is saying cancer people can't serve and serve honorably, what we want is that if you want to get chemo, you should do it after you leave the service.
>>42122687and they aren't discriminated against btw. They are given and honorable discharge, that is the best discharge you can get in the military. They are given double the benefits a normal retiring vet gets. They can go serve as contractors or DOD civilian or something else. What they can't do, is serve in dangerous combat missions where we need the most lethal fighting force to fight our enemies.
>>42122745>So your in favor of wasteful spending?Ideally we would be taking all the money spent on our useless do-nothing military and spending it on healthcare and infrastructure, but I think that at the very least they can foot some fucking medical bills.
>>42122641i was in the military as a trans personyou are not undeployable
>>42122756The difference between this and say DADT is DADT was discriminatory and targeted LGB people on an immutable trait, something they were born with. Same with racial discrimination in the military or denying women combat roles.Transitioning is something people CHOOSE to do. It is not an immutable trait. We spent 56 million gender affirming care in the USDoD from 2015-2024. That's alot over such a short period and only growing. Trump put a shot to trans people joining and simply getting free surgeries for being trans. Trump simply said "pay for your surgeries on your own dime." I'm sorry if that's offensive to some trans people, but that's just what we want.
>>42122783>i was in the military as a trans personDid you undergo SRS that the military was handing out for free? Cause that leads to 12 months un-deployablity right there.
>>42122641You're out of your mind if you think blood tests are so essential you can't go on a 6 month deployment. The medication requirements aren't even that high, except for T if you're FTM. The worst you might see is having to switch to sublingual with a 6 month supply for a deployment. Also I don't know why the fuck you included me in this replay chain, I never said anything about reasons or Trump or transphobia.Non-deployability is only an issue at the very start of HRT. Since the military requires you to wait on surgery anyway, non-deployability for that is also not an issue.
>>42122834not an srsoidim surprised you still know the nuance though and arent just speaking out your ass
>>42122776>Ideally we would be taking all the money spent on our useless do-nothing militaryWith Russia and China increasing their military and preparing to take over the world?Maybe look up what those countries do to trans people and come back to me.>foot some fucking medical bills. With good insurance, an SRS in the US costs about $3,000 dollars out of pocket. Sometimes completely free with charities and go fund mes.
>>42122860>With Russia and China increasing their military and preparing to take over the world?oh my god you are fucking 50 aren't you
>>42122824saying you're gay and being open about it isn't an immutuable trait of being gay, its something people choose to do.
>>42122855>You're out of your mind if you think blood tests are so essential you can't go on a 6 month deployment. The medication requirements aren't even that high, except for T if you're FTM. The worst you might see is having to switch to sublingual with a 6 month supply for a deployment.Great, I'll go join and imminently require SRS and start getting on hormones. Sure i'll be non-deployable for 12-16 months and sure I'll have to go back to the doctors for complications and sure it leads to weaken bone structure, but hey at least we got equality!>Since the military requires you to wait on surgery anyway, non-deployability for that is also not an issue. That is not true. You can get it anytime you join. Why do you think Trump had to ban it? We had hundreds of SRS cases just in the last few years.
>>42122885>oh my god you are fucking 50 aren't youNah just someone who doesn't like Americans glossing over fascist authoritarian regimes who want to see us all dead.
>>42122890>saying you're gay and being open about it isn't an immutuable trait of being gay, its something people choose to do.you don't need surgeries and hormones to be gay.and nobody is banned for saying "I am transgender". Nowhere can you be discharges for saying that in the military. That would be discrimination on gender preference.
>>42122856>not an srsoidThis only applies to to those who transition who attempted transition due to the drugs / meds / non-deployment / mental health.
>>42121427>giga uncs in this thread crying about troons not being allowed to go to war with russia or somethingno tranny need to go to die in a war to maintain infinite neoliberal hegemony over the world
>>42122954yea, instead we need Russia to take over the world. They treat trannies great and don't throw them off buildings.
