this christmas i'd like to remind everyone that transmisogyny is the biggest indication that misandry is indeed a real, systemic issue. people don't overwhelmingly hate and condem trans women because they see them as women; it's quite the opposite. they are so intensely vitriolic because they view trans women as men, and people hate it when men step outside their designated lane. this is why trans men are almost entirely ignored by the media at large, they view trans men as women and women are allowed to do whatever they want. if anything, trans men are usually just painted as victims
