living loudly can be a byproduct of being lgbt. think party/club flamer stereotype.

other times, its just because everyone else is doing it. sometimes its self-expression in a very trad punk (literally just trying to piss everyone off) kinda way. sometimes its just because they think it looks good.

most of the time however, it looks like shit. maybe im just not cut out for bright colours because i like my hair to be as dark as the night.

Colorful hair dye is associated with outsider sub-cultures which LGBTs are far more likely to be in. Also makes chuddies seethe for some reason and that is probably worth it on its own.

I dyed my hair blonde because boys prefer blondes over brunettes >.<

changing your hair color, getting piercings, tattoos, its a way to reclaim body autonomy.

"I am in control of my body i am actively changing what i want to about it" though they might not be aware of that
