Good Evening /tttt/, I am here newfagging and entering spaces I should be more well versed in but if anyone would humor me I’d appreciate it. I’ve noticed that a lot of mtf trans women seem to really ruminate in girly childlike endeavors, whether it’d be fashion, or socialization. DESU this isn’t exclusive towards the trans community millennials and zoomers have been eternal children for the past ten years or so but I’m wondering if there is a loss in womanhood that trans women experience akin to the loss in girlhood. I’ve noticed this same thinking in ftm’s as well, who tend to focus on boyhood strongly as well.

I wish you'd use some examples to paint a picture in my mind

To be honest I don't understand it either, besides hearing it rationalized, and the childishness i tend to find annoying. However I think that what you see as immaturity in some form or another is more common than you think, and that trans women tend to be externally validated for it. There are many cis women who feel they never had a girlhood either and I see them finding catharsis for that in trans women. I think that there's a common reality in which everybody is on some level pretending to be adults that they might take a break from in different ways, however I think there's also a lot of important, non-career related reasons for maturity.

I don’t have the image on hand and I know you guys routinely clown the trans reddits board but it’s those older trans women that wear pastel clothing and pigtails a little like Dylan Mulveny (or however her name is spelt) during her first year of transition

I think it's because those formative years are really important for cementing identity and childishness in women is more socially acceptable.

fashion isn't a childlike endeavor you nonce, it's a professional career for models and agents alike; fashion is a massive part of american culture and adult life

I see girlhood and childhood is very important in regards to development, I was just curious to see as to why in my experience there seem to be a lot trans people focused on youth but that can be explained in our society valuing youth heavily.

Poor taste in fashion is definitely childlike and embarrassing to see in full grown adults. I may be presumptuous, bigheaded, and judgmental but is the truth.(by truth I mean my opinion)

That's one reason.
Another reason is that the most vocal trannies ARE very young. So what are they going to talk about if not their youth?
Us older trannies have given up even trying to offer guidance since the enshitification of queer spaces became the new normal.

It is.
"Baby trans" is real. In the past trannies had an older tranny or a close cisf friend to help them cope with that. Because the purpose was to become women and live our lives as normal functional adults.
Social media, narcissism, abolition of gatekeeping and radicalization killed all of that and gave rise to the weirdest gigahons being the most visible trannies.
Tbdesu, this isn't even specific to trannies. Almost all online spaces and almost all subcultures have gradually become enshitified.
