I was a gay guy for the first 19 years of my life, then transitioned because of dysphoria. Now I look like a woman so other gay men don't want to date me anymore, and dating has gone way downhill. Straight men I date see me as a woman because I look like one, so they treat me as a mentally retarded child to manipulate for sex instead of as a fellow person and an equal. They also have no fashion sense and put way less effort into their appearance than gay men do. They also have no interest in gay media which I used to love sharing with my partners pre-transition. What do I do now? do I just date bi men? do I have to detransition?
>>42161937Don't worry, just wait until you're like 32. That's when straight men get hot and mature. Your dating pool is probably all fuccbois right now.
>>42161944I've tried dating straight men in their 30s and they still have all of these issues.
>>42161937>>42161944>>42162161You are not dating straight men but bi men with internalized homophobia. Get srs if you want to date real straight men, they are nice.
>>42162161Well what you have to do is use those as learning experiences to filter down your options to home in on the guy who is going to meet your standards. You can't expect yourself to just know everything and get this right straight away. I went through many shitty relationships and dating to finally get a boy I want to spend my life with and who also wants that to happen with me. I think this task is a lot harder than it sounds: accepting that you have needs you can't compromise on and that other people also have needs that they aren't going to compromise on. Maybe you were trying to mold yourself to the person you're dating and in return expecting the person you're dating to mold themselves to you? Typically it leads to frustration.
>>42162187I have had SRS also please shut the fuck up you're just going into every thread starting SRS arguments. What the heck is wrong with you... it's people's free choice to do what they want KYS
>>42162226I don't "expect the person I'm dating to mold themselves to me" I just want to be treated like a person instead of an npc the way men treat women.
>>42162267Okay I'm going to simplify this for you:Use the data you have collected to find a man who has the quality of "treats women like people." Do you need me to literally spell out the behaviors to watch out for in men? This is only impossible if you make it impossible. If you want to make this a discussion about how you're going to detrans yourself and go back to being gay and find some perfect gay relationship that sounds a little more difficult to me.
