Like, for instance, when I see someone like picrel (I know it has been posted here already), my mind goes like: "if you really want to be a woman, why tf are you keeping that beard?". I would assume that a closeted trans woman would use every opportunity she has to be more feminine, even with stupid things like facial hair. I'm saying this as someone who had long hair, wore things like cardigans and t-shirts with flowers and shaved obsessively before I ever thought I might be trans. Especially after one has realised they're trans and has decided to troon, you would expect this person to shave off any facial hair immediately. I'm not trying to be some kind of ultratrutrans grifter here, because i'm AGP myself, but like... people like picrel really do seem not to know what they're doing.

Beards hide dysphoric features along the lower face

t. grew a beard to hide parts of my face that I hated when I chose to rep at 17.
>>
I'm fat and having at least some stubble hides my double chin, so having facial hair is less upsetting for me generally
>>
>>42167325

how tf does growing a man beard to cover your man chin make things ANY better
>>
>>42167362
Because hair is less personal than the jawbones. You can change hair. You can style it.

It also serves to just further push feelings down. If you can see your jaw, you can always wonder what could have been. The beard helps suppress those feelings.

For some people, the best way to repress is to just go to the other extreme.
>>
>>42167309
some people are dysphoric but don't know they're dysphoric. they just hate or feel apathetic to how they look but don't know why. once they realise what they're feeling is dysphoria then they start to make changes
>>
>>42167362
It's like wearing a chastity cage to cover up your dick. For some people it works, for others it just draws more unwanted attention to that area. Everyone is different.
>>
>>42167362
Reppers aren't known for their impecable grooming habits. Having a beard means you get to hide your face and you don't have to deal with your face.
>>42167338
Let us vow to get in better shape next year, repbro.
>t. fat bearded repper
>>
>>42167325
>grows an even more moided feature to hide moided features
>>
>>42167309
>I would assume that a closeted trans woman would use every opportunity she has to be more feminine, even with stupid things like facial hair.
you would be right. this man has gooned too close to the sun.
>>
>>42167445
I don't know what to tell you. It's not the moidery itself that causes the dysphoria for many people, but just some weird abstract issues with the body. Hiding those features, therefore, reduces dysphoria. It's especially true for people who aren't conscious of the nature of dysphoria.
>>
>>42167309
>i uh feel more kinship with women
i wish these people would admit to being AGP sissy fetishoids, it would at least be honest
>>
>>42167309
On one hand I agree with what you’re saying in that once you come out (even to yourself) you should be doing everything in your power to be as feminine as possible.

However, lots of people are quite depressed pre transition and that can lead to poor self-care including shaving
>>
>>42167475
even if they are trooning purely for a fetish, you would still expect them to shave in order to satisfy said fetish
>>
>>42167497
yeah but it should literally be impossible to grow a beard if you're trans. like you only will have enough facial hair for it if you're just a man. tranny gene doesn't let you have a full beard.
>>
>>42167517
Secondary masculinization probably does it the rest of the way.
>>
>>42167309
>45 year old man troons out
>calls himself "Mikki"

hes just retarded thats all, not trans, just a deeply retarded individual.
>>
>>42167309
Hmmm. I'm someone who kinda sorta looked like picrel before transitioning. I wasn't ever the most masculine person in the room, but no one would have thought of me as androgynous or even as a feminine man

In my case, I just wanted to be "normal" and I thought that the tranny thoughts would go away if I fit more conventional things into my life (career, relationship, mainstream hobbies, etc.) I felt like I was playing the hand that I was dealt, and for a long time life was comfortable enough so I kept at it. Occasionally, I would feel pangs of regret that I hadn't transitioned when I was younger or wistful longing for a different reality where I was a woman, but my repression and denial was effective enough to keep those feelings pretty well-contained for a long time. I guess it's pretty hard to explain to someone whose brain doesn't utilize those coping mechanisms, but you just find ways to distract yourself and avoid thinking about it
>>
I’m a trans woman with short hair and a full beard. I tried shaving a couple of times but it was never for me. I much prefer being a woman with a beard.
>>
>>42167664
when did you transition and do you pass now?
>>
>>42167362
>>42167445
Having slightly stubble makes my philtrum look smaller and my jawline less defined so I actually feel more feminine with a bit of facial hair. Obviously I pass worse but as a boymoder(repper) its fine because it helps me internally while also shielding me externally from people thinking im a troon
>>
>>42167781
28. That was about 4 years ago and I think I mostly pass though I'm sure some would disagree
>>
>>42167941
when you say no one thought you were andro or feminine do you mean physically or the way you act? did you have to change the way you act?
>>
>>42167952
Both. I looked and acted like a typical guy. I think I changed the way I acted, but it was less of a conscious effort and instead came about naturally as I became more comfortable presenting as a woman in daily life. I guess there were a few mannerisms that I purposefully made a habit of cultivating, but it mostly felt like second nature once I went all-in on the whole living as a woman thing
>>
>>42167325
The most advanced desperate and pathetic fake trans cope I have ever heard in my life.
>>
>checks channel
>Most popular video
Yeah it's a grift.
>>
>>42167309
am I faketrans if I'm a manmoder but keep my hair super short? I don't like it but I don't feel safe to have even a slight chance of someone realising I'm a troon
>>
>>42167837
boymoding is not repressing
you are not a boymoder if you're not on HRT
you are just a man
>>
>>42168139
any surgery?
>>
>>42168189
Every trans channel is dying, i highly doubt anyone transitions for the sake of views, at least these days.
>>
>>42168162
>Wow! Being a woman would be nice, but it's too late for that.
>I should probably find a way to live that minimizes the discomfort I have around my facial features
it's not hard to imagine unless you're retarded
>>
>>42168239
if you're on hrt you are by definition a transsexual
>>
>>42167309
I get depressed and shaving everything feels like so much effort but I try to shave my face often
>>
>>42168611
depression won for me
>>
>>42168611
same. it's such a chore and i look like a man regardless, so why bother? i do shave when i have the energy, but that's like once or twice a month.
if i actually started caring about how i look, i would rope pretty fast, considering there is no world where i'll ever look like how i want to.
>>
>>42168668
>so why bother
this mindset is impossible if you experience gender dysphoria. you can't just ignore your way out of it
>>
>>42168679
If it's just one of many things it's ignorable. There's a reason why dysphoria over certain features tends to worsen as fewer features become dysphoria-inducing.
>>
>>42167309
for me at least i had an actual "beard" at one point (probably like half a cm after a month of growth) when i was still repping. my rationale was that i had to be a normal man and participate in normal man things but either way i still didn't like it. i shave more often now (at least twice a week) but depression and adhd make it hard for me to do it daily.
not sure why you would come out while still having a full beard and short hair though. even when i was still repping i grew my hair out at least
>>
>>42167309
>if you really want to be a woman, why tf are you keeping that beard?
Because despise wanting to be a woman, I'm not one and shaving my beard or taking hrt won't magically turn me into one.
>>
>>42167309
millennials were a mistake
>>
>>42168801
Also, it's not like I'm keeping my beard, I just don't bother shaving. The body horror of being a man is neverending so might as well wallow in my own shit and play vidya all day long.
Fuck pretending to be the sex I am not, that's cringe and fake.
>>
>>42167703
psyop
>>
>>42168248
im repressing the tranny thoughts by just taking e and "boymoding" instead of attempting to socially transition
>>
>>42170111
What do you do about the boobs
>>
>>42170133
they're not noticeable enough to matter
>>
>>42167362
it's like wearing a mask. also, you have weak theory of mind (v. malebrained btw)
>>
Honestly I didn't care so much looking like a man except that the guys I was crushing on, well, they were all straight and into women. Gotta do what you gotta do.
>>
>>42168679
you can drink it away though
