I want to raise a being but not in a way that involves the government caring about the welfare of that being. Like I'm not gonna do a bad job of it, and that's my concern. Because they will push you to do the things you actually want to do, and become the person you actually want to be.Perhaps you should also push some of the people incongruent with your values out of your life. But it's hard if they are family and shit. I can see how it could be fulfilling to raise kids, but the cons outweigh the pros to me. I don't care about legacy or whatever.
