Gonna have to stay with someone I know who doesn't know I'm trans or on estrogen for some time and I'm a bit worried about them finding out if I just wear hoodies and layers all the time even though my chest isn't that big. I know they say you shouldn't wear binders because it deforms your breasts or something (fine for FTMs and cis men with gyno but not for me), but would a compression top be fine? I've heard TomboyX or GCBTL "compression tops" are like less flattening than a binder but less painful. And that's fine because I only have A cups. But it's definitely still noticeable if I just wear a shirt that isn't baggy and don't try to hide anything. I know this because a well-meaning friend told me this when I said "Yeah you can hardly see anything right?" And sports bras don't actually flatten much at all.
