Over the years I've seen the worst of people and realized I was happier playing vidya and reading fantasy than engaging with humans. I even flunked out of a well-paid job because it meant working 11 hours a day with no time to escape. I'm also happy I didn't troon out. That would have been stupid. Luckily, my dysphoria is manageable and doesn't make me want to kms. The only thing that's making me unhappy is my brain. Something happened to me in my early 20s and my memory went to shit. I can't focus, my recall worsened, and I have trouble holding information in my mind. Perhaps it's the CO2. I live with a mentally ill family member who insists on keeping all the windows shut.
