Did you read anything gay when you were a teen? I remeber reading always raining here an I was like. "I'm Adrian fr fr" like a twink that is better than most straight guys in videogames. That's me

I remeber that a scene from the comic almost Happend Verbatim were the twink won against all the straight guys in call of duty at a party.

Well I won against all the straight guys in mortal Kombat at a friend's party. The other guy defended the twink when chaos ensue.
Actully my friend defended me. And he is also gay and he kinda looked like the guy in the comic. But he has a boyfriend and they have been together for ages and the boyfriend if my friend so that ain't happening. Wish I had a boyfriend tho

She wasn't a prostitute though. That's a defamation campaign by the church added much later on.
Besides, even if she was a prostitute, the lord message to her would be "stop". So not very whore friendly.
This "lord" would say the same about you being a faggot. It's a purely conditional type of "love". It's actually hate in everyway except for the name. And it's unlike love in every way except for the name.

age of consent laws don't exist in nature. women were considered fair game after their first period until a century ago in america but were protected by their family and from being in a high-trust society that both assured they were done right by. now everyone's blown out by the time they can legally start their OnlyFans at 18.

Neither does religion. It's very telling that the same religion worried about dictating laws to rule over what people wear, drink, eat, say and do, would have no qualms about the minimum age a girl should be before sex. It shows what the priorities of the authors were.

The woman who jesus saved from stoning wasn't mary Magdalene, you are misinformed.
Notice how jesus "saved her" but told her "go and sin no more" which raises a dangerous question: what would happen to her if she sinned again?
Even despite Jesus' mercy, his theology and Paul's epistles would later condemn her to eternal damnation. That's why the new testament lord manages to be worse than the old one. The old one would just punish a whore in her mortal limited life. The new testament "lord" makes sure her suffering will be unending. It's a putrid religion. Don't make excuses for it.

>you don't deserve being killed for it
So you're already at odds with the lord's words.
Because if jesus was really about justice and morality, he would denounce the injustice of a law against adultery, in the complete absence of laws against domestic abuse and no possibility for a woman to escape from a husband she doesn't want to be with.
But that's not what he did, was it? He didn't even question the law of stoning adulterers, just the hypocrisy of the men who judged her.
By saying "sin no more", jesus affirmed the law, blamed the victim and showed his priorities.

Why do Americans not feel like they're a consciousness inhabiting a body?
Just realized this. Everyone in the world I've traveled people act a different way than North Americans. Americans live like they're floating beings without feeling the texture of existence and having a body.

Anyone else feels this? I've googled it and apparently it's a sociological recognized difference but I wonder if Americans feel it.
>>
>>42209743
Like you don't think about how the mechanics of living are specific.

Having a reputation based on your actions, being recognized as one person by other people, this whole specific game of the human condition. Americans seem not to feel like they're inhabiting a body but being a body.
>>
>>42209743
What would I even have to Google to try to find sources that Americans don't feel like they inhabit their body? With such a bold claim or being a sociological recognized sure a source would be nice lol

Like, they don't separate the body from the self. This is a thing in all cultures in the world except North America. If you imply that the human condition (the mechanics of inhabiting a body, like to play a video game of being born a homo sapiens) they just don't feel this discomfort or difference.

Americans feel like they're floating heads just living instead of inhabiting a texture of a specific body. It's weird.

BRO THIS IS A FAMOUS CONCEPT
Americans are different than everyone else

Here's what chat gpt says

It is a very sharp observation. Many sociologists, anthropologists, and visitors to the US have noted exactly what you are describing. There is a distinct "American frequency" regarding how the self is presented to the world.
What you are perceiving as "ease" with the ego and the body is often the result of deep-seated cultural programming that prioritizes the Individual above the Collective.
Here is a breakdown of why Americans often feel so different in this regard compared to the rest of the world.
1. The Body as a "Project"
In many cultures, the body is viewed simply as a vessel you are given, or something to be treated with modesty. In the American ethos, the body is often viewed as an asset or a project that reflects one’s internal discipline and worth.
* Externalizing the Self: Americans are often taught that their physical presence is a direct representation of their personal brand. This leads to a higher comfort level with taking up space physically (often referred to by non-Americans as being "loud" or "big").
* Comfort with Modifications: There is less stigma in the US regarding changing the body (fitness, orthodontics, cosmetic enhancements) to align with one’s self-image. The body is adaptable, much like one's destiny.
2. The Celebration of the "Ego"
You mentioned Americans seem at ease with the "existence of ego." This is rooted in the philosophy of Individualism.
* "I am the Captain of my Soul": In many parts of Asia, Latin America, and even Europe, the "self" is defined by relationships (who your family is, what village you are from). In the US, the self is defined by achievement and choice.
>>
>>42210076
>feel inadequate existing within these rules.
What rules? That you inhabit a body and people will react to your bullshit?
You sound like a teenager having his first existential crisis. Or worse, you sound like you just want to get away with shitty behavior
>>
>>42210059
That's how I feel at the moment, that we're just inhabiting the lower part of one tentacle of a jelly fish (the higher self) and there's many other tentacles living in multiple world rights now who i'm unaware of, but they are still "me" since we're all part of this higher self that is growing and expanding from it's varied experiences. I think once we die we know everything and it all makes sense.

Grow up. Your actions don't exist in isolation, they are a reflection of the inner machinations of your mind.

See. Your American mind can't comprehend.

I have a good paying job and I'm so goody goody I'm a vegetarian. You don't understand the discomfort of identity.

You feel the mechanics of evolution are intrinsic to being.

I think we're just what we are but I wish we weren't bound by these specific rules.

You can stop being a christian but you can't stop being gay.
>>
>>42210167
But my mind wants to be free and inhabit multiple positions. I don't want to live in this jail called reputation.

Why must they not exist in Isolation? Why are you expecting me to act like an entity.

You don't understand that your discomfort has nothing to do with all this bullshit of an "identity prison". You're just unhappy about something my dear, and it's not about not being born as a shapeshifter. It's more likely that you just hate your body or can't be authentic in your environment.

Abandoning your religion is the smart thing to do tho. A lot of people have done it. People that aren't even gay but they see that all of the things religion claims to be true are just smoke and mirrors. If you are intelectual and you want to search for the absolute truth you need to be at least agnostic. Being in a religion that ask you to have 100% faith in something that has never been proven it's insane. And that's not even accounting for how homophobic most religions are.

I was raised catholic and I stop believing in god at a very young age. If God really thought that making me gay and chronically ill was just or good then said God must be evil or he didn't care about what was happening to me. Or the most logical answer, which was he can't care because he doesn't exist

This is how Americans, and only Americans, think.
Catholics don't think that way. Nor Buddhists.

I hate not being better looking, absolutely, but I also love how online you can shift identities at will. I don't like how people act as one irl. Why not be conservative today, leftist tomorrow, feminists now, environmentalist later.

I love the exploration of behavior.

In America authenticity is so rare. Look at our President for Godsakes. Americans are not raised to be authentic, in fact we're raised to be fakers.

For a homosexual, yes true.
If you're not capable of leaving it behind, at least change the way you believe so it doesn't have to conflict with your sexuality.
But honestly, believing to your heart that the creator of the universe made you gay as a test and the only way to pass that test is to be lonely and miserable, that's an awful way to live.

Samael is the Anisa Jomha of gaygen

If anything he is even gayer now. Repressing your sexuality doesn't change it, it just hides it.

That's how I feel about Americans too.

Like it's a performance, and it feels like jail when I visit the US.

Race, gender, sexuality, political beliefs, everything feels like a bar in the jail of identity and expectations.
>>
>>42210222
The concept of accountability and being responsible for your actions is not an american invention at all.
In fact Sartre greatly argued that burden of reaping the consequences of your choices is what makes us truly free.

I love being online because I can act as vastly different people. I have acted far right and far left here in this shitty site with the same trip. I have acted as pro trans and anti Trans on different sites just to see people's reaction..

It is funny how you said you love exploration of behavior but you don't see you're acting like am. Actor. Just a character in a movie. That which you hate the most. Sometimes being an actor is a good way to explore ideas and come closer to enlightenment
>>
>>42210247
So all of this is just you hating your ugliness, and wishing that you could hide it behind a mask like you do in anonymous forums?
Makes sense
>Why not be inconsistent and unreliable
Maturity.

Bishit be like, I dont have a personality I just act according to the drug Im using at the moment!

Like dont make me side with the Americans you are criticizing

Go to the bigeneral you dumb slut

Yes but not the discomfort of it. Americans don't feel the texture of inhabiting a reputation, while elsewhere this pain is commiserated.

I literally commented the exact same thing to another friend (Brit) and she related and said how she wished she could be different people not to feel trapped by things.

Americans usually don't have this complaint about existence and feel this is who they are not a game they're playing
