Maybe genital preference is transphobic, technically speaking. However, these types of leftists don't use labels based on technicalities (that's the secondary purpose for plausible deniability), but rather because of the emotional connotations and power associated with the labels.

You can subliminally threaten these people, but normal people are more numerous, so success is just not in your favor. The only thing you can do is convince people with politeness, good faith, and understanding. Though, that kind of thing would be unrealistic to expect from brainwashed individuals, that can't even keep the story straight in their own heads, never mind trying to convince other people.
