Why is Wonder Showzen the only show I've seen from the 90s-2000s with any explicit FTM representation? Am I misinformed or was it really not that common back then?

Note: I'm excluding stuff like Mulan where the character is male presenting but doesn't undergo any surgeries or TRT.

it was purely hypothetical before 2017 when trans men were invented

"Two and a Half Men" had one too. In one episode Charlie reconnects with an ex who transitioned. And despite how crass the show was it was surprisingly pretty tasteful about it.

He had sex with a cis man before transitioning then came back into the guy's life to bang his mom. This should be introductory material for people who wonder how you'd turn out if you were born missing your dick

trannies weren't invented back then
