Fortunately we've gone full circle. There was a time where increasing visibility made us more clockable. Now its like the increased visibility has given every cis normie an unrealistic impression of their own ability to clock us. They think they know, but they don't, because they're fed a media diet of bearded men or extremely masculine lesbians or whatever lol. They think we are easy to clock now because they have been over exposed to the least passing trannies. This means if you do not look like a stereotype you're more likely to pass, whereas gender non conforming cis people get clocked more.

IMO group identities in the future will be much more fluid and plastic but still socially significant. I think a big mistake a lot of people make is thinking that the essentialisation of an identity is synonymous with said identity's significance in society.
The future will be like high school, cliques formed around what are basically subcultures, with sex, race, ethnic, etc categories effectively becoming equivalent to stuff like goth.
