After months of putting it off my dad is finally putting the shoe down and making me get therapy. (This is because he knows I'm a tranner and a cutter). I'm gonna set up a consult with someone who specializes in trans stuff.
What should I expect? And as a secondary question, what can I actually get out of therapy?

if you can find the right one it can be a really really great thing. really cathartic. its a good first step. maybe it will take you some time to open up but its worth it. good luck
