>>42297844hi i just got my first levels everIm on gnrh injection every 3 months and 2mg E daily, I got my blood test done just after the first 3 months if that matters, also took my last E pill more a bit more than 24 hours ago from blood testT 0.73ng/mLE 340pg/mLSHBG 51nmol/Lis this normal?? isnt 2mg daily supposed to be a hondose? like sure Im on gnrh but shouldnt that still not be possible? my endo had told me about checking my levels and uppin my dose on our next appointment but now Im scared she wont do that..also another question, why dont more people talk about SHBG? isnt it supposed to be really important?
>>42298554340pg/mL on 2mg oral pills 24+ hours sounds frankly impossible. the half life of oral E2 is 13-17 hours and if its valerate its a little higher.it could be that you have naturally abnormally high E2.ur T is also a little high though. you want to be sitting below 50-60 ng/dL (ur at 73 if i can convert things correctly).and yes SHBG is incredibly important to look at, especially with pills. yours is not too bad though.
>>42297844just got my first ever labs done too!E2 - 600.6 pg/mlT - 45 ng/dlthis seems a little high for 4mg/week EEn mono, though i usually inject sunday afternoon/evening but i could only get an appointment on saturday morning so this is not quite troughconsidering lowering my dose to 3 but maybe i fucked it up and should shift my shot by 1 day and retest
Reposting because last thread is killCurrent regimen:>6mg E sublingually (spaced out during the day)>100mg spiro at nightLevels>55 pg/ml E>0.1 LH (in case it matters)>0.31 ng/ml TShould I be concerned/talk about it with my endo? He saw these numbers and kept my dosage the same.I'm experiencing fatigue and crushing lack of libido, but I'm unsure if that's because of hormones or depression (diagnosed, medicated with mood stabilizers)
>>42301066your e is really low like even for wpath standards he should be upping your dose to 8mg or giving u a different method
>>42301066T is adequately suppressed at ~30ng/dlE is relatively low, for reference WPATH 8 guidelines are 100-200pg/ml (not intended for monotherapy). You should try to avoid oral as a method of delivery, sublingual is prone to the same issues ime. Gel or if possible, compounded cypionate injections (available in the US, better than the standard valerate in terms of half life).Could even diy EEN and go the route of monotherapy, but your E really is unacceptably low prior to at least an orchiectomy.
>>42301137>>42301166My endo said it was "fine and within range" last time I saw him...And as for EEN and injections, those aren't available on my country. Do you think Gel will be better than pills? Best I got on pills was 97 pg/ml EOnly HRT options in my country are Gel and pills
>>42300387im gonna say that these numbers kind of mean very little. they tell us nothing about how long what you injects in your body and how low your gross E2 level drops, and how high your testosterone gets.>>42301610finding best levels on pills is kind of difficult, how long after how big of a dose is the 55pg/ml presenting?
>>42301610>Only HRT options in my country are Gel and pillsIf you're unwilling to diy and injections are not available you should strongly consider gel, assuming you're willing to deal with having to apply gel every day.Your E levels would be adequate if they were stable and you didn't have gonads providing a source of testosterone but that isn't the case as it currently stands. You should understand that many practitioners genuinely aren't well versed on trans oriented health care at all, even if they mean well enough. Advocate for yourself for switching to gel, and if you ever have the desire to switch off spiro you might consider cpa at a low dose (6.25mg/day or 12.5 at absolute max), though if spiro is not providing you any side effects it's actually a perfectly acceptable AA now matter how much you might hear it isn't, given your suppressed T. Just do try out something other than pills, they're unfortunately not great for liver health long term and carry a sincerely elevated risk for dvt, and typically don't provide very stable levels. Far better than nothing but only in the absence of other available forms of hrt.In your case, given your use of AAs, aim for the aforementioned 100-200pg/ml of E. On the lower end of that spectrum is usually fine too, so don't feel you need to push 200 unless you feel an improvement in your issues from doing so after trying it.
>>42301610EEn is available everywhere, isn't it?
>>42301774This was at like 12-14hs after my last 2mg for the day>>42302031I'll book an appointment with my endo and see about swapping to gel to see if I can get better results. For the record, I've already had most of the breast tissue development I can expect since I've been over 5 years on HRT already (and I'm pleased, they developed adequately even if my levels seem low)>>42302253My country's equivalent for FDA doesn't approve it here, and I'm hesitant/unwilling to buy it off the internet instead of a pharmacy.
>>42302451>(and I'm pleased, they developed adequately even if my levels seem low)For what it's worth, it's more important to suppress T than to provide a high level of E. If you've had suppressed T this whole time and fluctuating E levels between 60-100pg/ml I'm not surprised by this at all. You don't strictly need to switch off pills, but if you feel your issues are tied to too low of levels definitely consider something other than pills for higher, more stable levels.
hi.. im on EEn + dihydroxyprogesterone acetophenide using 4mg a week and my breast growth is kinda staled i think.I started hrt in april 2024 using gel and cypro, a pump day/night applied to the scrotum. nowadays I think I've subdosed while I was on gel, since each pump is 0,75mg E and minumum daily dose would be 2mg.In march last year I switched to injections and recently got blood work done, for E2 and total T cuz its whats available for me atm. those are the results:E2 -> 133 pg/MlT -> 28 ng/dLits been 10 months since I switched to injections and for the first months I felt little growth and overall changes to my breasts but nothing since then, which makes me kinda sad cuz I see those "1 year on E heres my massive honkers" all the time. and its not like I got estrogen insensitivity cuz its been working pretty good for the rest of my body. if I were to point a thing maybe it got to do with starting at 16 or something, Im 175cm tall and 62kg, been trying to get to 65 but for someone that started at 52kg and gained 8kg just from months of hrt I think im pretty good.
>>42302536My main concern lies with my lack of libido, which while it's also probably tied to being depressed and taking psych meds, the low E levels probably aren't helping.
>>42302888introducing prog that early is not usually recommended for best chest developmenti would additionally like to add that your trough levels for E2 are on the lower side. i would recommend weight cycling a couple more times before looking to say pio or clobetasol. breast tissue development takes years.
>>42303886oh, dihydroxyprogesterone acetophenide is a progestine that mainly acts on blocking T, it has some other minor effects like smth to do with liquid retention, appetite and things like that, but I dont think it is as significant than taking rectal prog. EEn + DA is a common contraception/hormone replacement OTC med in brazil, popular know as Perlutan, its pretty common and has been widely used as hrt for over 20 years. I've already been thinking on increasing my dosage to 5mg or something, in theory wouldnt do much cuz E would still sit between 100~200 pg/Ml but doesnt hurt to try though.. but it sucks to be almost hitting 2 year hrt and still be a tanner 3, but thinking of it as second puberty makes sense that it still hasnt developed much. but for now ill just keep messing with weight till I hit tanner 4 and switch back to gel so I can add prog, its not good to mix progestines and progesterone since they will compete for the receptors or something I think.
My HRT has gotten crazy expensive, I live in western Canada and I can't afford it anymore. I've been on HRT for around 8 years and I gave all my excess HRT to a friend out here who couldn't get HRT due to shitty HRT practices out here because it's the fucking Texas of Canada.Does anybody know how I can get it covered out here, I'm currently left without, I would have to pay about 175 E/291 AA. Thank you so much if you can help, if not then I'm sorry for wasting your time.
>>42304336mb im sorry i got it mixed up with hydroxyprogesterone.i will say my chest looked mid as fuck at year 2. like standard gyno. it still looks like gyno but between years 3 and 4 the shape and size really rounded out. no dosage change. just time and weight cycles. ik its a meme but it does take time
>>42302451>FDA doesn't approve it hereAnd that's why you decided to hondose instead of DIYing?
