chopped off my hair in an episode & my passability went down like 50%. would i've too much of a hon to go for wigs. i can't live like this. the length is the issue tbc
>>
*would it be too hon to go for wigs?
sorry im retarded or something
>>
how short did you go? shoulder, chin, shorter than chin length?
>>
>>42316019
chin length, its uneven like some strands on my right side go down to shoulder

maybe get one that resembles your natural hair texture and doesn't look too fake. i think they make real hair wigs too but i assume those are expensive. black girls wear wigs all the time though, look up "lace front pinterest" on google images

i know it's awkward & embarrassing but your best course of action is probably just to go to a salon and say "hey, i tried to cut my own hair, it didn't go so well." be honest, try and laugh and be lighthearted about it if you can, have an actual hairdresser come up with a solution for you
>>

i watched a vid on it, yeah those things look magic. but considering i am probably going to get one w/ troon bangs (i have a bad forehead) lace front might not be a requirement (at least thats what im hearing ppl say)

my natural hair being curly poses a bigger problem bc curly wigs always look so fake to me >_>

if you dont pass with short hair then you don’t pass
>>
>>42316083
i went to one and they said if i wanted it evened out i'd have to cut it even shorter. i said i was too scared to lose any length and they shrugged me off (my fault probably bc i didnt know what to ask for other than advice and that was their advice so ya)

well-styled shorter hair is still a lot better than an uneven mess, though
if you tell them your intention is to grow it back out they can probably help you find transitional ways to style it
>>

yeah i didnt mean you have to get a lace font, ig i was just trying to share what i know about wigs

>my natural hair being curly poses a bigger problem bc curly wigs always look so fake to me >_>
idk, i tried a straight hair wig (my natural hair is curly/half-black) and it didn't look good on me. i think most wigs in general look fake except the ones made with real hair and some of the curly ones mimicking black people's natural hair texture, but if you can just try one that might not be bad

yeahhh they all look fake to me desu...i'll keep looking but. maybe i'll just have to cope. i hate myself.

Just wait a couple weeks and then go to a salon and ask for "pixie cut". They look cute and femme on most tgirls and they were all the rage in the y2k era.
