I personally feel like without some form of societal expected gender roles the idea of transitioning itself becomes pointless outside of some aesthetic pursuit. To me, being a woman is much more than simply looking feminine, it's acting in a way that the average person finds womanly, which results in being treated that way. Without a role to fulfill I'd be generally lost on what I wanted out of the transition at the social scale. Physical changes are nice, but the social changes are what really matters in my opinion, and thus having some kind of role structure based on gender is vital to that for me
I actually support abolishing gender roles. Trannies LOVE gender roles and try to have weird bottom only sex to show how adherent they are towards sexual conformity.
