I met this trans girl, sweet and caring, in a way that I had never seen any person be. Every time we hung out I just felt free and ecstatic, as if I had been shocked by an electrified tram track. Issues arose between us, just like in every relationship and I canned everything because I couldn't deal with the stress at the time, later to find out she was planning on proposing to me that summer.

I don't think there will be anyone quite like her, finding out she's moved on to someone else feels like I'm a witch burning at the stake.

What happened? :(

She figured out she may be asexual and we tried experimenting a lot but she lied about liking it to make me happy. The stress from threading that situation made me take some time off from her and she crashed out on me and we eventually cut ties. I regret it sm.

Hate to be blunt, but you made the right call.
Committing to a lifetime without sex is not a good idea unless you're ace yourself (and you're not).
It's good that you didn't crash out several years into the marriage.

Hard to swallow but I tell myself that too to try and stay down to earth, I just loved her a lot.

>I just loved her a lot
I believe you. But sexual compatibility is super important in a marriage.
Sexually frustrated/unsatisfied people end up pretty bad in perpetual (de facto) dead bedrooms.
Unlike fairy tales, in reality love by itself is just not enough. We're still sexual beings with very real needs in that department.
