i took 8mg/week but as others have said 4-6 is likely fine. i would say maybe 5 or 6.

as far as i am aware it doesn't matter at all really. i have also heard to not take it too early, but after your breasts have developed for a while it doesn't matter if you take it at like a year or two or three or ten, from what i understand.
