Once a month I have a sudden urge to drop my major and study to become a librarian and be an important member of my community instead of a disgusting neet scientist. Is this fembrained? Normiebrained?
STEM trannies are a dime a dozen. I have yet to have met a librarian trans woman. The idea is really cute but don't do it unless you're sure its what you want
>>42325116I am not in STEM I am too retarded for that, I am in History like a fat fucking chud.
>>42325127You’re the one who said scientist, wtf
>>42325430Yes, I should have said academic, I am a retard. Idk some of my professors think of themselves as scientists, but the word might have a different connotation in English and I did not know.
>>42325499There was a time, not sure when but probably relatively recently, when historians in academia started to call their field a science. I suspect it's because they though that the humanities aren't taken as seriously (or funded as quickly) as science programs.Librarian sounds cool to me. Where I am, I think you have to have a degree to be a head librarian, but you just have to be a certain level of city employee to work in a library.>t. religious studies fag
>>42325572Why did you get into religious studies? I am getting into Medieval Studies because I am autistic and like Paradox games but also because I vibe most with the medievalists and the Classics people. In my country being a librarian is a whole ass major, it's called bibliotecology, but I guess smaller libraries fill in with city employees.
>>42325661I got into religious studies for a couple reasons. I grew up in my family's kinda New Agey church, and there was always an expectation that I'd take over for my parents at some point.I was actually studying journalism, but my college required journalism majors to have a minor in an unrelated subject. So due to my background, I went with religious studies (at the same I had a couple friends studying philosophy at different schools, and I joked that I could keep up with them now).It was really interesting. My professors came from different academic backgrounds: history, psychology, literature. So every class had a different spin on the subject. I came away from it really into antiquity, especially the Greco-Roman era.>Paradox gamesThat's kind of cute nona. I am familiar with the studio, but I never played any of the games. Would you recommend any to someone who likes action RTS games more than civ games?>bibliotecologyI think here it's called library science, but I don't even know if my college offered it. My mom had a friend who got a master's degree in it, I think. She's a very literate lady.
>>42325966No, Grand Strategy has little to do with RTS, it's more akin to a board game or a polsim. But you should try CK3 or EU4 anyways, I cannot play EU5 because it requires a NASA gpu but oh well.
>>42325116I know one. She was one of the first tranny friends I had really early on in transition. We fell out of touch tho
>>42325997I sees. Thanks for the recommendations. I've heard good things about CK3, so maybe that's where I'll start.
>>42325096librarians are cunts. dont do it. its jk rowling brained.
