i had an FFS consult recently and these are mardirossian's current prices. i have 30k to my name rn, who do i have to kill/fuck/cheat/rob to get the rest ;___;
>>42335051Kidney
>>42335051Please just see another surgeon who is covered by your insurance for the bulk of the work and then go premium for touchups. There are plenty of great surgeons like Ramineni who are in network for many providers.
>>42335051>30kyou can afford everything from most top surgeons outside the anglosphere then
>>42335069on the topic of ok or good insurance surgeons how do u feel about rahul seth or paul mittermiller
>>42335112I've heard good things about them but haven't looked at their work myself.
>>42335051genioplasty estimate is significantly higher than mine from just a few months ago. everything else is like $1K higher, maybe inflation, idk. did you say you wanted really aggressive jaw work or something?
Is the difference between a good FFS surgeon and a great FFS surgeon really that significant?
there are only a few options:>partial financing (risky, must have a consistent stream of revenue to pay off asap)>delay until you can afford it (maybe in a couple years? but thatd also mean higher prices then too)>find a different surgeon and/or piecemeal it
>>42335051Who's doing ur surgery theses prices are gonna give me a stroke
>>42335243These are pretty good for decent american surgeons. Stroke inducing by global standards tho
>>42335243Mardirossian. He's like the second tier of American surgeons alongside Keojampa, with the top tier being Deschamps-Braly and Jumaily. He typically doesn't accept insurance.
>>42335273putting jumaily above keo is a little bunk IMO
>>42335201i realized your genioplasty line includes corticotomy too while mine is genioplasty "only"
>>42335267I'm from a 3rd world shithole where insurance doesn't matter when it comes to surgery so ofcourse this shocks me
>>42335301$80k is basically pocket change for most Americans.
>>42335301it shocks me too. but OP is american with 30k usd in savings. have to factor that in
>>42335333No it's like double the yearly median takehome pay for Americans.
>>42335051I wish I only paid 74k. Keojampa cost me 250k
>>42335371Cost you or cost your insurance? Prices with insurance are massively inflated.
>>42335359Nah senpai. Median household income is like $175k.
>>42335371250 is crazy how many revisions is that
>>42335421where? I dont know anyone making even half that
>>42335201>>42335285how much was your estimate for just genioplasty alone?
>>42335436northeast
>>42335421Median take home pay per worker is $43k.
>>42335408Literally the opposite, insurers try to bring the price down. Keo doesn’t negotiate his prices>>42335427no revisions
>>42335472thats skewed down by part time cis women and brown people working min wage>>42335486how did you get 250k? mortgage on a face?
>>42335486The listed prices when billed to insurance are almost always higher than the costs insurance actually pays. You'll see this in any hospital where the bill suddenly shrinks if someone is paying out of pocket.
>>42335507>it's not the median if we exclude a significant portion of the workforce and also just lie about median takehome pay for households by a factor of 2
>>42335537im saying the median doesnt matter. the full time pay for a qualified worker does. a woman on 10k a year is not struggling when their husband is on 100k.
>>42335472Yes but I don't care about people in red state rural areas.
>>42335511>insurance negotiates down prices and never pay what’s initially billedI literally just said that. but with Keo. insurers pay what’s billed. it’s part of the LoA.
>>42335562You said median household income is $175k when that's just a flat out lie and the actual answer is $83k
>>42335576not that anon. 175k is absurd. the mean is 120k tho, which means if you get a real job not just one for plebs you should be on a household income much higher.
>>42335602Mean is not a useful measure for discussing average specimens in populations with a very distinct tail on the bell curve. This is basic statistics.
>>42335602175k is very normal in my state
>>42335633we arent discussing that, we are discussing actual americans affording things, not browns and trailer trash
>>42335643well no its not normal in any state. Do they give you a discount if you shill for them here?
>>42335651Then why don't we talk about the average Gen Z salary, which is $40k? This isn't take home pay, either. This is salary.
>>42335689they have no barriers to hrt so should have started early enough to not need ffs. you can also save 8k for latin american ffs on that, which they would have to do already if they were in a family so shit they couldnt safely start hrt before 17
>>42335722>no barriers to hrt god i wish we lived in that world
>>42335738>go to telehealth doc with parents>get hrt>go to trans discord>get hrtits only shitholes like the middle east and australia that have real barriers
>>42335722>ignores college and living expenses and the fact that the only jobs available to people without a degree or apprenticeship are largely worthless except like, Starbucks which actually covers FFS.
>>42335767i wish parents weren't psycho but they are. like 60 million people voted for trump
>>42335440more like $15K for mandible contouring/genioplasty only, but it seems like all prices are higher so if i were quoted today, probably closer to $16-17K
>>42335785if your parents are psycho, then im sorry you are going through that, its awful. knew there are many in that situation so mentioned that in my earlier post. as you likely arent going to be getting the 30k saved for cheaper places let alone 250k.
