If you have pale skin and dark hair laser is going to get the majority of it. Light colors hairs and stubborn hairs that are not gone from laser would need electrolysis. That laser is a diode laser. For laser at least in the USA there are 3 main ones I know of, Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, and Diode. Alexandrite is if you are really pale they say Fitzpatrick 1,2,3. Nd:YAG is for darker people Fitzpatrick 4,5,6. And Diode is like a balance between those two. Also for me 6 sessions for full face and neck is 400-600 FMSTL.

update: i tried the razor, it works quite well, ofc the shadow is not gone fully but it really is way better than a normal cartridge razor

as long as i don’t look super closely into the mirror i can’t see my shadow, but holy fuck it takes so much longer i feel kinda miserable now doing it

but yay the result is better

but that just makes me want to do laser even more when i know i can get completely shadowless permanently and never think about shaving ever again

covering with makeup will just make you look cakey, even with decent skill. laser until you dont see any marginal progress, then electrolysis the rest. it takes years and hundreds of dollars

Just make sure it's an alexandrite laser but any place operating legally has to meet certain requirements. It's not someone running a homemade laser out of their garage saying trust me. Just to advertise such a business you need certain licenses and certifications met or you'll run into legal trouble. Their primary market is cis women looking to get rid of unwanted body hair

This is one of the reasons I have been procrastinating laser. I got to just fucking do it, I kinda have the money, but the task is just so fucking daunting. It also doesn’t help I’m thinking of half lying half being honest about the reason to get laser, folliculitis and ingrown hairs.

Not entirely true. It takes about 12 sessions, 1 per month, to see any meaningful change. Obviously if you have a full beard it's gonna be different than someone with light chin hair but it will definitely be a very noticeable improvement.
Like I told someone else earlier, laser places have deals on Groupon all the time. Pay for what you can when it goes on sale. I paid about 300 USD all together for 12 sessions. That's affordable even on minimum wage

How the hell did you find that deal? I know I live in an expensive area but on Groupon even during Black Friday the lowest I saw for face and neck, because the clinics near me separate them, it’s like $400-$600 for 6 sessions.
