Binarism is shitty and i hope we, as a society, grow out of it as soon as possible.t.nb
>>42353651It's fine actually, and I highly enjoy my rigid gender role.
I feel kinda bad for nonbinary people, but that's never going to happen
>>42353651Truth nuke unfortunately
>>42353662I hate it so much and find it stupid. The worse lf all is that binarists just look to me like if I'm the real problem for don't wanting to be part of their bullshit
>>42353688Eughh just wrote it with my arse bc i'm sleepy but you get it. It's dangerous to everyone
>>42353688>for don't wanting to be part of their bullshitthen don't be and leave people alone.problem is that you don't.
most people are binary. how are we meant to grow out of it?
>>42353651As stupid as it is people are nevertheless comforted by boiling everything down into overly simplified polar opposites like right and wrong or heroes and villains. The actual nuances of reality which escape those categories will always be too much of a hassle for most people to bother engaging with.
>>42353701I do leave them alone 99% of the time. I'm just very annoyed today and i feel like i need to put ot out of my chest somehow
>>42353738most of the aCtUaL nUaNcEs aren't worth engaging with (and that's in addition to the "nuances" which are straight up inventions by enbycoppers to make themselves feel better about their weirdness).
>>42353772You just agreed with me. As I said for most people engaging with such things simply isn't worth it. They isolate only those aspects of reality which they recognize as being pertinent to their own interests and disregard the rest, it's understandable really. If you think about it in terms of evolution you could say that their point of view is only so myopic because there aren't enough external pressures being placed on them by their environment to expand it beyond that and well fair enough.
