Maybe I was too generous, but I've been in a similar position to this man. I can only hope but assume he thought I was cis.

Like I was telling him- I was on the streets two years bad, and I haven't seen a snowstorm as bad as the one today in years, so I felt it important to help out now that I'm doing a bit better now.That 100$ bill I gave him was given to me by a comp-sci tranny who said she had too much money and didn't know what to do with it all. She gave it to me because she noticed I was struggling. But, he was struggling even more than me.It's also just nice to talk to someone who was able to walk me through the fears and understood some of my traumas (esp around money and such).
