if you live in a progressive city where as long as they're presenting trans people are consistently gendered correctly, how can you tell if you actually pass?

>>42364745i mean, i would say that's a good sign then! i dont think people are being nice if they're doing that. even "progressive" people often feel uncomfortable around trans people. we dont inspire the vitriol that you might see in more conservative areas, but people will still stumble over their words, get nervous, etc.
