The whole "Just be a boy" thing really grinds my gears because, when I was growing up, people used to say things like "It's okay to be gay." People wanted to reassure gay people that it was okay to be themselves.But here we are in 2025 and the script is completely reversed, now we want to tell cis people "it's okay to be cis" like WTF the existence of trans people does not in any way invalidate cis people. It's wrong to treat us this way. We are not the baddies, we are not the villains. We are a persecuted minority. It's y'all who are the baddies and the villains. Imagine if in 2005 people were going around saying "it's okay to be straight, just like girls! Just like girls, it's okay to be straight, just be straight." It's fucked up.
