no trans person wants this. people bring up john money and david reimer to trans people like it's a gigantic revelation to us, but the truth is, cis people have always done things like this to children who are difficult to categorize. the guidance for PAIS is to troon that fucking kid if they're not "susceptible enough" to testosterone. cis people have been doing this to kids with PAIS for decades. a lot of the time, thankfully, it works out. but, for me, and for a lot of other trans people, i think the point is for us to decide for ourselves what we are, regardless of what society thinks a man or a woman should look like

The doctors were cutting on my genitals when I was 5. I had one partially undescended testicle and one undescended testicle and "neurological development delay" (actually just autism). Basically I was born a eunuch.

I guess I feel the same way about transgenderism and religion
that people don't ACTUALLY believe in it, they've just learned others respond positively when they say they do, and they are scared to be honest or do anything else because of the continuous loop of positive reinforcement from others when they express the right supernatural beliefs
