whats the best way to shave my face pre-laser?

like, should I use a blade, or like one of those electric shaver things, or something else? (and does anybody have personal recommendations for brands and stuff?) and does the oil they sell on tiktok work?

Generally Harry's razors are best although a little pricey. I have an electric shaver, and it works but it's not as close of a shave and stubble will come back quicker.

Probably disposable cartridge razor like some basic gillette for men thing is your best option. Electric shavers will not do a good job at close shaves and hopefully this will be temporary because laser will work out for you in which case trying to get into other shit like double edge safety razors will be a waste of time.

no idea what this oil is. the five-blade gillette razors are nice. that + shave gel (any) is fine. GENTLY wash + exfoliate first, no more than slightly warm water. go with the grain first, then gel again, then against the grain. you can get a light toner with witch hazel to use after. don't use straight up witch hazel or aftershave. get a color corrector - rosy if you have problems with shadow, olive if you have problems with redness - and a good concealer. electric shavers are fine for quick-and-dirty; far better than nothing but they inherently don't get as close.
recommend against single-blade traditional safety razors if hrt; ime they're likelier to nick softer skin.
