Why do trans girls take such bad care of their hair?
>>
>>42403071
had short masc low maintenance hair for most of my life, never had to worry about the mechanics of it
so i basically have to learn from scratch how to manage it now that it matters

also most of us are depressed
>>
>>42403071
It's super hard and super expensive.
It's probably around $3,000 a year for great hair. I just don't have it, the doctors keep taking all my money.
>>
>>42403071
The better question is how do nearly all women magically know how to do all the crazy elaborate shit they do to make their hair look perfect.
>>
i dont know how
>>
>>42403071
cis women get taught it as the grow up their whole life little by little as while having help from mothers and sisters and friends, trans women get suddenly thrust into it all at once by themselves
Makes a lot of sense
>>
>>42403180
I can't relate to women at all because of how insanely social their whole lives are.
>>
>>42403163
>>42403180
Actually they pay professionals.
A cut and die is $300-500 done every 6-8 weeks. That's $2000-$4500.
A chemical straighten on top of that is $400-500 done every 4-6 months. Another $800-1500.

$2800-6000 a year for female grade hair.
>>
>>42403270
Are you saying most women get their hair dyed and straightened? I don't think that's true.
I do think most women are getting something done at a hair salon on a regular basis though.
>>
>>42403313
Lol they're definitely all getting it dyed. Nobody has their natural colour.
It's not all women, you've also got all the oldies and the women with the dyke cuts because they literally get to the point they can't be fucked keeping up with it any more.

I use box dye and a heated brush, because that's what I can afford, and that's why my hair is tranny grade.
>>
>>42403313
Most of them are getting it dyed, yes
Natural colors similar to your own but fancier looking are more common than fake colors
>>
>>42403349
It looks so much better too.

>It’s now estimated that around 70% of American, European, and Japanese women bleach and/or dye their hair. The global hair dye market is currently estimated at over 20 billion USD per year, while the hair bleach industry is estimated at around 3.5 billion USD.
Weird. Women really are an alien species. I never knew this despite dating several of them.

well speaking from my experience growing up my mum was very invested in making sure my sisters hair was always well looked after, she would always help her style it and take her to the salon and for her entire life her hair has always been gorgeous because mum showed her what to do with it

then i came out and she flat out rejected me, and any time i asked for anything har related she would either give me intentionally sabotaging advice or blow me off on it completely
>shampoo and condition your whole head daily
>your hair (which is down to my chest) is too short to get layers, and a fringe would look really ugly on you (both lies)
>you can blow dry and straighten daily and it won’t do anything to it
>you’re too old to have it braided (she had literally just finished braiding my sisters, she’s 23 and im 26)
>you don’t have enough hair to style

i just know she pays etsy witches to do rituals to make it fall out, i hate her so much. this post didnt go how i thought it would but take from it what you will. i miss when my mum loved me

fake curls are just ick
>>
>>42403270
Honey a cut and dye should not be $300-$500 lol
Unless you insist on getting elaborate highlights and you live in a bougie area
>>
It takes a lot of trial and error to figure out how to take care of your hair. Cis girls got to go through that their whole life.

Actually Zoë now identifies as a trans girl. Her hair is nice though I don't know what the fuck OPs probably is, I'd get a handful of it.

I have a theory about this, but no one will believe me. I’ve noticed that my hair can go from impossibly frizzy tangled to completely relaxed and silky (and getting multiple compliments) within a few hours without brushing, and vice versa. It seems to happen when I’m either fasting, around really loving people, or in the right environment. You know how the body has a certain electric charge? I swear it’s an electromagnetic or a static electricity thing. There might be a hormonal element. It’s hard to explain. All I know is that if I eat like shit it can go from silky and beautiful to tangled and ugly like menopause hair in like a fucking hour. I notice a lot of trans women in my area with menopause hair too, a lot of them happen to eat a lot and a lot of junk food. Idk.

In this pic it’s pretty frizzy but you can see the underlying curls starting to relax.

Perfect hair and tits. Even if you didn't have a good face to go with it that's still the AGP dream. Good job.
>>
>>42403071
You're a dumbass and she's pale so I'm willing to give you some leeway but still, she's black OP. Thats what her hair looks like unless she straightens the shit out of it.

I don't normally like trannies since I think of them and myself as men for the most part and just come here because I'm basically a tranny myself, but you're ridiculously cute. Would marry / 10.
