jesus. fuck you. run you beautiful retard and forget about us.
>>
>>42405027
Glad for you. Now aggressively save, move to a low cost area, grind and find love.
But most importantly, never come back here. I'm serious about that. This place is terrible. Maybe pay a visit in 2030 or even later.
Live, nona!

Your expenses are likely going to be much higher.
>>
>>42405027
I need to kill myself right now
>>
I graduate in 3 semesters.
No clubs, no internships, no research.
Going to go straight to the unemployment line :)
>>
I'm roping

Howtf did you get a job

I'm gonna grad from cs soon and the job market looks like hell. And I'm too autistic/dysfunctional to form connections or whatever. How in the fuck did you get this job. What are you specializing in???? What are you working in?? How???

Please give me wisdom
>>
>>42405134
She has a supportive family who also work in the bay area and got her a job.
I have an insane Christian mother that fucked me up mentally and I'm just trying to get by.
>>
i know so many trannies with a rich daddy that pays for everything, put them through college and they go straight into a job in big tech. poorfags always lose
>>
>>42405027
You should be saving up a bigger portion of that money into a 401k and whatnot and instead go to one of the many, many good surgeons in CA that accept insurance ASAP rather than delaying FFS in a job market that is historically terrible.
>>
>>42405159
>She has a supportive family
Half of my family is supportive even though the environment is super toxic. the non-supporting half is far away though
>work in the bay area
I am midwest unfortunately
>I'm just trying to get by
I feel this
>>
>>42405112
but you guys are my friends! no matter what happens irl it feels like there are ppl on this board that actually understand me and care about me.

>>42405114
how? i am living off of $300 a month right now (including meals, not including university housing), i barely eat anything and have no hobbies except shitposting on the internet. even if my expenses are higher i still will be putting away money

>>42405134
>>42405159
my parents dont work in tech and i had no connections prior. it was a cold apply. tailor your job searches to align with your experience, and tailor your resume to match the posting. i spent 1 to 2 hours tailoring for. every. posting. i applied for about 35 jobs and got 2 offers. the key is to specialize in a niche in cs (os, networks, cryptography, etc.) and get leadership experience in this niche thru extracurriculars and do (paid) internships. be cracked, perform well, and meet all deliverables. avoid frontend (or even backend) its oversaturated. the other thing is to be personable, fun, and a little nerdy. the interview should feel more like a conversation, and the interviewer should be excited to talk with you.
>>
had to break up bc 4chan said it was spam

>>42405170
my dad wont pay for any trans stuff and isnt paying his alimony either lol. he did pay for most of my college though, so no debt

trans surgery subreddit wiki
>>
>>42405281
The trans surgeries subreddit is good but I actually have a list of surgeons I've had recommended who are in CA and take insurance that you can look at yourself.

Artur Fahradyan
Paul Mittermiller
Justine Lee
Thomas Satterwhite
Rahul Seth

I've heard particularly good things about Fahradyan, Mittermiller, and Satterwhite.
>>
>>42405027
i can't imagine having twelve thousand dollars every single month
fairy tale level money
>>
>>42405300
ok. im not actually in CA yet, i still have to finish up a semester of school (i just signed the offer for when i graduate). should i start trying to schedule this now? im worried about taking time off soon after starting
>>
>>42405325
Waitlists can be very long so I'd recommend calling ahead of time and getting things settled so that once you're employed and have insurance you can have those consults and subsequent surgeries.
>>
>>42405323
With taxes her post-tax pay is gonna be a little over $8,000/mo. Factor in cost of living, deductions for insurance (go for a low deductible healthcare plan nona), 401k, Roth IRA, other assorted living expenses, etc. it's not as much as it sounds.

t.ranny also in tech but with both a lower salary and a much lower cost of living area who's saved up $30k in 1.5 years.
>>
>>42405274
>os, networks, cryptography, etc.
do you think robotics would work for this? Or would I maybe need a masters for that. I'll have to talk to my robotics prof maybe I guess

also. are you a (pretty) passoid? This obv affects application. I'm an ugly permamanmoder, so
t. >>42405134
>>
>>42405027
It's gonna be more like 1/3rd of your pay to taxes
>>
>>42405274
>but you guys are my friends! no matter what happens irl it feels like there are ppl on this board that actually understand me and care about me.
Terrible mentality.
I'm a tranny who does some blue collar maintenance during night time in Poland. Well paid, but not super well. Hence why I scroll 4chan while at work, kek.
We will never meet in person, you will never know my name and I will never know yours.
The only friends are those IRL, nona.
Also, this place is full of baby trans and legit bad faith people who mask really really well. And there's far more of those than of passerbys like me who at least mean no harm.

Focus on your real life. And live.
The Internet is not real life. It's a tool (and am increasingly convinced that it's no longer a useful tool anyway).
>>
i make 5600/mo after taxes and i'm still poor
>>
>>42405027
what school did you go to
>>
>>42405380
>it's not as much as it sounds.
nta but yes it fucking is. you are securing a future with all that money and living vastly more comfortably. i have subsisted on less than 10k in the us @ 650 room rent+util & at less than 10k while living in the woods. one third of your pay is unimaginable luxury to someone as unemployable as me.
>>
>>42405390
>robotics
yes. you can get a masters in robotics if you need more time. certain jobs in big tech and in govt pay more for masters, so it can be worth it. join your schools robotics team (or make one). volunteer for FRC/FTC etc. you did FRC in high school, right nona? try to get an internship, apply to natl labs, anduril, rockwell, honeywell, lockheed, etc. are you a US citizen and can you pass a background check? stop smoking all weed right now. if you can, you can get a job in defense

>passoid
im a semipassoid, mostly passing as a mid woman to people who dont know how to clock. started hrt at 18, no surgeries except laser (covered by insurance)

>>42405430
for better or worse i grew up on places like these, i can see through most of it, and usually find humor in it desu

>>42405454
a T60 you’ve never heard of
>>
>>42405134
protip for cs jobs, spam ta positions in uni and talk with professors. if they realize youre cracked enough they will recommend you to faang or a national lab. im in a shit t60 like op but theres a couple profs who keep sending people to a faang every other year. this relies on you being good in a subject though. listen to the anon and grind a field or two thats not webdev. doing stuff like contributing to useful/popular libraries can bring attention as well.
>>
>>42405027
I had this too but decided to rep
then I got laid off and decided to neet due to being too depressed
>>
>>42405943
did you troon out?
>>
>>42405946
no why would I do that now
>>
>>42405962
it could help with your depression
>>
>>42405027
yeah you made it i was in the same boat and scheduled FFS for this year. money goes a long way to just buying and donating clothes

If you work for a MAG7 you should look into the insurance they offer. my employer has a special contract with my insurance that lets me get FFS fully covered at surgeons that otherwise don't work with insurance.
>>
>>42405969
it’s a lot more manageable as a neet, trooning would make it worse bc I can’t handle being cringe like that
>>
>>42405027

manmoding has mental benefits while hiding your power level
>>
>>42406007
nah I’d rather die a repper
plus I have no income now so can’t take risks like that
>>
>>42406015
i get it, i repped for years as a practical matter while working part time. then started manmoding/girlmoding after getting a decent tech job. if i knew that boymoding existed tho i would be a lot farther in by now.
>>
>>42406029
I don’t think I could get another job like that plus neeting has made me realize I’m happier just doing nothing
>>
wagmi mommy, in a similar situation here. About to graduate from my grad program this year into a job making $225k/year+bonus in nyc, had FFS with DB a few months ago. Feels good, life feels honestly very normal now which I never expected.

>>
>>42405027
yeah i'm also on a $200k salary and had FFS with several revisions and i still don't pass 100% of the time, i think like 95% of people gender me female maybe but i also put like 0 effort into my appearance aside from FFS. i got called sir by a barista a few months ago and it kinda made me very depressed but i think that barista may have heard me talk before or something and i live in a fairly small village so maybe she just remembered me or whatever, but it's probably just cope
>DB
maybe i should have gone to him instead and maybe he would have made me into a passoid, i went to another one of the top US surgeons
>>
>>42405027
What do you look like, I hope you don't give autism? I don't understand why Americans complain about their country even opportunities like this exist and private insurance pays for everything. I've gone out of pocket and abroad for srs facial work and hair removal so I'm kind of over it now but seriously you people get that shit for free. Anyway good for you nona
