ok wait I think i figured out the thing with trans men and not preferring rape is that in their case both going through female puberty and being raped are kind of equal in how bad they are Especially considering the consequences they bring about (female puberty makes you a highly likely target of rape, rape has a high probability of making you pregnant, both result in dysphoria because in both cases you are likely to be fertile because thats just how your body is). so say someone Chooses to be raped "instead of" going through female puberty, so if theres a small chance they arent fertile and wont suffer the consequences it might be optimal, but ultimately not much different because after all they still have a female body and organs and thus a small chance of pregnancy still happening. and if they choose female puberty? then its still horrifying, even without rape, even though it still makes you a likely target for it.
