so i'm a straight cis guy and i don't have gender dysphoria but ever since i was 12 i have felt really anxious and stressed about not being a girl. i kinda have been able to handle those feelings and function normally but a few days ago i decided to dress up as a girl as a joke. like my friend let me borrow her clothes and her makeup and when i saw myself in the mirror i almost had a heart attack. i quickly ran home and then had a complete nervous breakdown. i have been crying in my bed for a few days now.

Gender dysphoria isn't real and therefore is what you want it to be. Just don't lop anything off and if you're lucky and go outside often, you'll be normal again soon enough.
