Crossdressing works as shared consciousness where the male experiences female perspective not only by dressing as her, but trying to occupy her headspace. Read any cd's personal account of unconscious mental changes as their appearance changes. This is an experience of a higher order, it's sublime. It is intelligble in contrast to his normal, mundane life. The powers that be wish to change life into "slop", which puts an end to the structure which makes this process possible. E.g. Bungie's Halo created a shared culture which spawned subcultures (custom games, machinima, competitive gaming) which were meaningful in their relation to the base game. Over time, Halo's formula has been skewed. A recent occurence of this is the black history skin. I think MtF is an evolution of crossdressing adapted to this broken system. To commit to hormonal change for the sake of participation in symbolic identity is a big sacrifice, which calls for high trust among others who do the same. The transsexual sublime is less intelligble than the cd's, but it is a more developed form, and more long-term. Arca's music is perhaps a good characterization of this. This is the opposite of a world which values easy pleasure, herd mentality, and ironically, erasure of culture (corporate flat art). Big Queer knows this and wishes to castrate it.
