how is the UK even classed as a first world country
>hrt access is heavily gatekept and has 3 digit year waitlists
>rest of medical service is falling apart
>no insurance to pay for surgery like in the US, no government grants like e.g. in France
>largest concentration of terfs in the world who screech about women's rights being infringed by trans women while rape gangs operate in their towns and cities
>largest concentration of terfs in the world who screech about trans men ruining their bodies with hrt and surgery because they believe every afab is an incubator for making children and should be prettier than they ever were
>no opposition to transphobia because it's all seen as 'common sense' and our govt uses us as a scapegoat to distract from other issues and controls the media
>"want to avoid a 300 year waitlist and get diy? we'll send you to a mental hospital where you'll be sexually assaulted"
>things are just generally falling apart: prime minister is a dictator who wants to import millions of immigrants who want people like me chucked off of buildings, housing crisis, job crisis, social media is being censored, and the weather is always shit
>Literally countries that Brits would fight tooth and nail to claim to be better than (Mexico, Brazil, Thailand) have hrt available OTC

This country is a shithole and i hate it
>>
>>42569005
It's first world because it's a NATO country.

but it's also a shithole. total bonger death.
>>
>>42569005
you know most people don't actually give a shit about most of this stuff right, it just seems like a bigger deal to you
>>
>>42569005
How will we be able to drink their pee if we cant get into the changing rooms?! Euphoria boners are essential healthcare and this seems to be denying a fundamental human right
>>
>>42569266
If you hate the hecking euphoria boners then give them hrt bongtard
>>
>>42569205
it's a sign of a declining country when rights get rolled back so the government have a scapegoat
>>42569266
wow, you've hit the nail on the head there. i know right? it's good to see there's like minded people here and it's not all just chud tourists
>>
>>42569005
>Why is Socialism not working?!?!?!?!
>>
>>42569396
the UK isn't socialist, our government is supposedly centre-left but they're just a copy of the other party
universal healthcare would be a good idea if it was funded correctly, wasn't insanely corrupt and there wasn't too many people for each doctor
>>
>>42569396
The UK isn't socialist, it's just weird and corrupt. It's like a half-normal European country decided in the 1980s to create an oligarchy like Russia's, down to the total stage-management of politics.
>>
>>42569005
are people really that violent to trans woman publicly there or is it just the few stories ive read from here?
>>
>>42569396
Britain hasn’t even had a socialist party for decades, anyone who thinks labour has been socialist since Blair (except maybe under Corbyn, who never had power) is retarded. Every party in British politics is a Thatcherite (also helps to explain the bigoted feminism) party to varying degrees, which is how the country turned so oligarchic. It gets worse and worse because of foreign investment interference making everyone poorer and destroying communities while also planting foreign communities that don’t integrate.
>>42569664
Idk, where I live it doesn’t seem so, but I’m not trans so hard to say. I’d guess further north and in more poor and more foreign areas it could be very bad given how intolerant some people are here
>>
>>42569664
cis women get transvestigated in women's bathrooms, if you're visibly trans expect not so subtle discrimination from everyone and a chance you'll be killed
there's a cult of fear manufactured by the news through highlighting rapehons and focusing on women's bathrooms, while ignoring any positive trans news and refusing to show passoids because it would harm their agenda

Hello Mr Poon,

We are writing to you today to let you know that administering medication such as Testosterone yourself without the supervision of a NHS doctor is not only extremely dangerous, it is also illegal activity.

These medications that are bought on the black market are being sold by criminal gangs and networks that fund much more serious crimes such as arm dealing, stabbings, and hateful comments towards Kier Starmer online.

The medical community in UK has found that best practices for possible transgender individuals is in watchful waiting until the patient reaches the mature age of 65 before beginning medical interventions at the lowest effective dose.

We have forwarded all your details to the London Metropolitan Police as a safeguarding measure.

Kind regards
Mr Robert Cuck (he/they/it)

Just because the tax money isn't being directed to causes that benefit you directly, it doesn't mean that the government isn't Socialist in nature.
Putting taxes aside, let's look at a few other aspects that are relevant.

Collectivism (expanded into Globalism):
As soon as Labour came back to power, they immediately suggested that rejoining the EU would be a good thing.
Also, where has Starmer been recently? China.

Regulation:
This may just be me being a pessimistic and sadistic classical liberal, but I do not believe everything in life needs to be regulated.
Online Safety Act? Parents need to manage their own offspring. They shouldn't be the government's/community's children.

Hormones? If you are of legal age and sound, why should the government decide whether you are allowed to use HRT.

Hell, I don't even believe that companies should have been expected to put those stupid "Caution: Hot" labels on coffee cups.

Coffee should not be able to cause third degree burns in 3 seconds anon. Mccy did not want to lower their coffee temperatures to normal barista levels so they had to do it

UK hasn't been an actual first world country for a long, long time. It only counts because London is basically THE only hub of economic activity in the entire country and that's ONLY because of the bankers and finanicial institutions. Everywhere else may as well be a destitute shithole of poverty and crime.
>>
>>42570739
Oh.
I specifically didn't mention bathrooms, because I have been to Camden Market (Cyberdog) enough and have used the large unisex toilet there enough for it not to be a shock.
Showers though? Not sure

The online safety act was a Conservative party law, it was just implemented under Labour because the period between when it was legislated and when it came into force was interrupted by the election.

Britain's love of micromanaging people's lives and permitting things isn't a socialist trait, it's a weird fetish picked up during WW1/2. That is, it's one of central planning, but the planning conducted during total war rather than any ideological thing.

>>42570796
They could repeal it.
Also:
>Currently, the Labour government has no plans to repeal the Online Safety Act. Instead, they are actively working with Ofcom to implement it and have even suggested they might strengthen certain parts of it that they believe were "weakened" by previous administrations.

USA here, I saw a no passing trans woman get tazered in a grocery store parking lot yesterday by pigs. Literally 6 cop cars showed up. Apparently somebody saw them go into a women’s room and confronted her and she just went ballistic.

Hearing about the UK, especially from trannies, is always entertaining as a yank

Central planning is authoritarian rather than strictly socialist.

That's like saying eating bread is inherently European because it's a common staple of European diets.
>>
>>42569005
i'm so grateful god didn't make me a brit or a yankee that i'm not even mad about the tranny part ngl. where i live it's not socially acceptable to say anything transphobic in public and people just generally don't care

don't confuse the inverse. socialists like central planning, that doesn't mean central planners like socialism. (if this is unintuitive: both my cow and a table have 4 legs. you cannot, however, make any real connection between the two by merit of that shared trait.)

in any case, britain doesn't particularly care for central planning. it liked it during the war, and to make it work it had to go for permits and regulations and rationing and so on, but after the war it progressively ditched the central planning and (begrudgingly) rationing, but it still likes the permits and the regulation and the general demanding that you justify your existence (a trait that perhaps goes back to feudalism - remember, this is the country that cut the kings head off french style and then instead of staying a republic, invited his son back...) but medium to long term planning is utterly loathed and detested. british governments are some of the most short termist around because the country is run by the treasury, and the treasury loathes spending money. there's no point planning beyond next year's budget because whatever you've got planned will be chopped and changed and cut and wrecked by year 3.
(look at HS2. A high speed railway was approved in 2010, in 2026 it is still not finished, and in that time it has been cut from a high speed link from central London to Manchester interlinking with an improved railway network in the north of England, to a high speed link from kinda-outside London to Birmingham only. The reason this long term key national infrastructure was cut, time and time again, was to meet short-term fiscal targets. And that's about the most ambitious plan since 2010 - nobody's even tried since!)
