the prices for laser hair removal are a lie, pretty much every laser hair removal place has constantly running deals on groupon for anywhere from 50-80% off

Don't get suckered by the asking price

Call and make sure it isn't IPL first

what's the non IPL version called

Laser didn't work since I'm ginger :( need expensive electrolysis
>>

electrolysis maybe
NTA tho idk if they meant that or if theres a third kind

i never understood this, how is hair color relevant? i heard a lot of people say this but like why does it make a difference?
>>

the laser is on a spectrum of light that only hits certain pigments. i don't understand the exact mechanics. but in my experience even the dark hairs that get treated with laser grow back as vellum and then need electrolysis anyway

>how is hair color relevant
color is determined by light reflecting or being absorbed by the material, lasers are made of light
brighter colors like blonde and ginger reflect more light, darker colors like brown and black absorb more
absorbing the light converts it to heat, which is what makes the follicle grow back weaker, reflecting it doesn't do that

they do grow back as vellum hairs yes, but cis women have vellum hairs on their face. it's fine to want a fully smooth face with no hair at all, but fine vellum hairs are normal

i have a man face so i can't afford vellum on my face. idk why anyone would ever get facial laser. just get electro and get the hairs removed permanently like cis women with vellum actually do (theyre the largest portion of electro clients). like, a big area that isn't so focal, like the legs, i can understand getting laser. but getting on your face is such a waste of time and money
