>>42623559a lot of this is assuming you have straight hair. if your hair is curly you will probably need some curl-specific helpi swear by olaplex 3 for disulfide bond repair. it's pricy but so good. there are dupes online for cheaper but i can't vouch for themi use the elizavecca cer-100 protein treatment because it's cheap and safe and available on amazon. i think it's a korean product.additional things are to always use a heat protectant before using any heat on your hair, like blow drying and especially before flat ironing or curling it. i got this heat protectant on amazon and it works well. has a bit of a chalky volumizing texture after your hair is dry which i like, but if you don't like it there are other heat protectants at most drugstores that feel different.and there are leave-in conditioners which can be nice to use weekly or so. i like the kristin ess leave-in conditioner spray because it's a good balance between cheap, effective, and available at random stores. only use a few sprays when you use a leave-in and then massage it through your ends - you don't want to soak your hair and weigh it down, just enough to put a thin layer over it and then work it through your hair.finally, a nice mousse applied while your hair is still partially wet and then massaged through before you blow-dry and style can help make everything smooth and long lasting.good luck! haircare is a fun hobby
