Got my prescription for E injections! I’m super excited! My only real question is should I be concerned about coring from the stopper? I’m using 27ga needles in an auto injector. I figure changing the needle itself wouldn’t fix the issue, since wouldn’t it be pulled up inside the syringe itself? Or is the needle small enough that there’s minima risk? us-based here. injections are very cheap. raw price for ev (100mg/5ml) is $181.99, i have pretty shitty insurance and it was $70.23 out of pocket for me. 18g drawup needles are $4.25 for 20, not covered by insurance. 25g injection needles are $14.09 for 20, also not covered by insurance. syringes are $16.27 raw price, fully covered by insurance. works out to about $2.16/day without insurance, $0.89/day with. cheaper than pills for sure, diy still is a little cheaper assuming youre buying needles in bulk

jesus christ do not inject again for 2 weeks. your levels must be insanely high right now. assuming by last monday you meant the 9th, do a 0.15ml injection on the 23rd. if you meant the 2nd, do the 0.15ml injection on the 16th. then keep doing 0.15ml every 7 days. that should put you back on track for normal levels within 28 days. for reference picrel has a normal een schedule (orange) and what you are doing (blue). we are currently somewhere between day 25 and 32, depending on if you did your 0.5ml injection on the 9th or the 2nd.

the standard recommendation is 3 months in. i personally would get tested after injecting 0.15ml 2 times (so about a month and a half in) just to make sure that your levels are on track since you did an insane fucking loading dose.

1ml are easier to get. 0.5ml is better if you can get your hands on them. 0.33ml is fine but can be a problem if you have higher doses depending on what youre doing with your injections, e.g. if your dose is 0.2ml and you like to draw up double the amount (helps with air bubbles), then 0.33ml isnt enough space. if you draw exact amount then its fine too

yes. if you inject after 14 days like i suggest, youll almost perfectly time your next dose as if you had been doing it once every 7 days. if you inject sooner than that then youre adding a boost to your levels too early.
as an analogy, imagine that youre driving a car. you need to keep your foot pressed down on the pedal a little in order to maintain speed, right, otherwise you start slowing down. this is your regular injection. now imagine that youre trying to get on the highway. you need to press down hard on the pedal to accelerate up to 65mph and then let up a little to stop accelerating. this is an ideal loading dose. you just pressed the pedal to the metal and now youre going 120mph, so you need to completely take your foot off the pedal for a bit to let your speed go down to 65. this is the waiting 14 days part. doing your next dose too soon would be like putting pressure back on the pedal while youre still going at 80mph.

as long as you get your levels back down to normal (the orange line) you'll be fine, which will happen by day 40. if you kept doing 1ml every week and had your levels at 1200 for like 3 years then youd probably drop dead from a blood clot or some shit, but a month is not enough time for serious damage to happen. a tranny i know was at 1500pg/ml for 8 months straight and she had no problems. youre gonna be fine

Hi, I've been taking 12.5mg cyproterone acetate every two days, alongside 8mg E weekly (with slight variations for the estrodiol) for the past four years.

My T is suppressed and my E is around 250ish pg/ml at trough, I was checking my breasts and I noticed that on my right nipple after a little squeezing, some clear/milkyish drops of fluid came from both nipples alongside (from other milk ducts on the nipple, some yellowish fluid), my worry is that this could be a symptom of a prolactinoma, which is obviously quite worrying, could it be?

Another question I have is if I were to have it, would I have to discontinue hrt? I heard that some of them (or all, I'm not sure) 'feed' off of estrogen? I'm quite worried, is this a big deal or likely or perhaps in the like 20% ish chance or above range of being a prolactinoma? or probably just raised prolactin via cypro.

Hi, DIY! When I randomly lowered my dose, my breast growth restarted after a 3-year stall. It's very weird because they only get tender somewhere between 3.2mg and 3.6mg EEn. Since I've been injecting 3.2-3.6mg, they have doubled in size over 1.5 years—which isn't huge, but very noticeable. It's so weird that if I go just a little bit higher or lower with my dose, the tenderness stops instantly. I inject every two weeks and they get tender by the second week. Don't worry, I'm also on bica. My SHBG never goes over 60 on this dose.
I've been thinking about the future since I still haven't used progesterone. I kinda want to maximize my growth on E before I start prog, and I don't know where the ceiling is because they keep growing, albeit very slowly.
I also want to try Pioglitazone.
The thing is, I've been slowly losing weight on low-dose semaglutide to substantially reduce cravings and food noise.
