Does estrogen monotherapy fix hair thinning?
My understanding is yes, if you're taking enough to adequately suppress testosterone (and thereby DHT).
>>42675086helps a little for most, seen a few cases with really good resultsas usual starting treatment early is very important
>>42675086The hairlosstalk forum guys who are infamous for regrowing their hair by using tranny hrt went further than just taking estradiol.Bridgeburn for example used bicalutamide to completely shut down androgen exposure alongside estradiol.Another guy on hairlosstalk just injected everclear into his testicles to kill them and had them removed in an emergency room afterwards.
>>42675294there is no way these guys are actually just cis men that would go to these lenghts to avoid hair loss. gotta be trannies with layers of cope
>>42675547you may find him on xiter and see for yourself
>>42675592i dont care enough to stalk them, i just find it difficult to believe a cis man would get orchi just to avoid balding like 80% of men do. he is cuter in the after pic tho. maybe we should start marketing estrogen as a hairloss medicine to normies. would be a hell of a lot more bishies to choose a boyfriend from, as i happen to like pretty boys
>>42675086It will stop it but not reverse it. Also is that dominican priest reacts?
>>42675086keep getting mixed answers on this. just gonna do it anyway cause i dont want to risk the sides from min fin dut and can try them in a year or two if not satisfied
>>42675949use minoxidil while you're at it
>>42675983does it do anything for hairline? I have vellus hair where the hairline should be (on E + spiro) but it doesn't seem to want to go terminal
>>42676836it works on any part of the skin, despite what the instructions typically saythats why it's important to keep it off your face and immediately wash it if it drips downit wont show immediate results but give it a few months
>>42676855how far down do you go with it then? like do you go about where you want the reconstructed hairline to be, or above where you're aiming with the assumption it will affect follicles a bit below?
>>42676894apply it exactly where you want hair to grow use a small brush for the hairlineif you're derma rolling make sure the brush is sterilized with alcohol before using it just like the roller
>>42676968perfect, ty anon!
>>42675983This made my entire body hair + facial hair go crazy. I have hair on my feet, a light unibrow, longer eyelashes, random long har on arms, long leg hair etc. not on hormones, started fin later and less than a year. I use topical foam, aim for twice a day. Sometimes once, sometimes I’ll skip a dayCurious if anyone is on E and Min
>>42676997thats not unheard of, but it really shouldn't be having that drastic of a systemic effect on your body
>>42677055It’s possible it’s my age but the increase in hair lines up with the time I started min. I’m not willing to stop using min to prove my point because I have great results so idk
>>42675983i bought some but i cant manage it twice a day and i have cats so if i did this i would only do nights and i dont really wanna wear a bonnet or change my pillowcases i roll around a lot and i dont want transfer from pillow to blanket edge cause cats sleep on my bed during day and i dont want propylene alcohol in my hair during the day or have to wash my counter constantly and chase the kitten from licking shower residue and i cant keep the shared bathroom locked all day unless you have some easy work arounds for all that im just gonna stick with mono e quitting nicotine and a scalp massager + biotin and collagen until i have proof that doesnt work. its not really that thin anyway its been pretty stable maybe a couple mm recession idk maybe i shoulda got foam? the liquid just drips all over the fucking place and coats my hair instead of my scalp
>>42679213oh i also shower at night so putting it on to sleep means it will be there the next day and i would have to like wash my coats more often and keep them in a closet or something too and i cant run my hands through my hair and then touch surfaces. its just a hugely disruptive ordeal
I'm starting HRT at Norwood 2 am I fucked
>>42680135hardly
>>42680883Do you mean I'm getting fucked hard, or that I'm barely getting fucked?
>>42675294HRT DOES NOTHING!!!>goes from dude who'd kill you with a crowbar to zesty nigga.
>>42675547I can't believe retards actually think estrogen is magic woman juice, and not just a beautifier.
Bros I'm not gay I am just taking estrogen to improve my health markers.
>>42683080me2 bro, wanna kiss and have passionate sex to improve mental health?
>>42685269o-only if you are cute.
>>42683076its not magic but it gave me tits and made me not able to ejaculate, both of which i think cis men would worry about more than having to have a masculine hairline as a man
>>42685490lol cope, make sure you chop your dick off or you aren't trutrans you are just a femboy.
>>42685576what am i supposed to cope about? some of the people on this site are so fucking weird
>>42675086I was almost entirely bald then I started fin and minox and a year later HRT, eventually added biotin. Start of hair loss 19, almost bald by 30, start finn and minox, 31 start HRT34 now with almost a full head of hair (temples are still filling slightly)
i want an actually bald youtuber to troon out and record the process of full recovery. can u imagine the psychic damage
>>42686400did the biotin make a difference for you?happy for you btw :)
>>42675294years since i was on hairlosstalk (the bastards don't respond to my messages so i can't reactivate my old account) but if talk about who i think he regretted castrating himself severely and it was done during a mental episode
Anything you do that suppresses testosterone will by consequence suppress DHT which is what triggers androgenic alopecia. Estradiol also is beneficial for follicular health.
