I think it comes from two sources.1. Maybe some unprocessed trauma, at least in the really intense ddbg or big/little scenes. I do think if it becomes too intense it is a sign of bad mental health.2. The more healthy way I think is like the Japanese term Amae, or "The joy of being taken care of". Since the act of being trans is in and of itself a sort of rejection of sociatal expectations, a trans individual is also more likely to reject western, and specifically american hyper independance. I think a certain level of intimacy is unlocked if your allowed to be vulnerable in that sort of way with your partner. Maybe just taking a day where you get to be taken care of and some times the reverse. Sending a signal to your body that sometimes its ok to relax into giving and receiving love without necessarily a direct reciprocation.
