Hey I figured a thread for helping each other with our voices would be good! So let's do this! Here's mine, I'm still a beginner I've been training for a month now : https://voca.ro/1ocKwY4GjcTt
>>42721195https://voca.ro/188ZmnDVZVABfor a month it sounds goodi know people who cant make any progress at all so keep it uphow often in that month have you been training?
>>42721614Your voice sounds pretty nice. It does sound like you have a cold, and I’m not sure if that’s from trying to raise pitch or what. Overall A+ :3https://voca.ro/1ZhwPGruVBpRNot really looking for any constructive feedback, just wanted to sing :p this song is almost too high for me.
>>42721861i think i have some sort of nasal condition that no one realized lelmy piercer brought it up when i was getting my nose pierced once but i havent followed up with a doctor unfortunatelyyou have a very pretty singing voice
>>42721913Hmm, have you gone to an ENT to have an examination or is it just not that big a deal. It doesn’t really impair passing, but I may be suffering from accent blindness.
>>42721972not yetim going to talk to my doctor about it later this year to get a referralim going through getting the gov to fund my orchi so im taking it one at a timeif it lines up as an option i might be able to get my rhinoplasty funded through it
>>42721989Best wishes wonderful!
>>42721195I think I remember you from a past voicegen thread, it sounds better now!>>42721614You sound amazing for one month lmao I'm so jealous https://voca.ro/1dD77xIKW4NOIf anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it
>>42721195https://voca.ro/15U5GASbj2LlI never know what to say for these things, but like I said I just want some opinions for how I sound now
>>42721195yeah not bad for a month but keep working at it. pitch is not the main issue, focus on resonance and vocal weight first>>42721614i'd say this passes, though very low energy.>>42721861nice.>>42722050yeah no pass, voice is kinda heavy. cute tho imo.>>42722730soft spoken guy voiceThis is what one year of half-hearted voice training sounds like:https://voca.ro/17LOEVRsIsad
>>OPit's decent prog for 1mo. pitch isn't the problem it's the weight and some resonance issues>>42721614pass>>42721861gigapass, teach me how to sing>>pennyfagvoice, same issues as OP but your weight is worse. you are really pretty though>>42722730...male. go voicetrain. sorry but it's a waste of time for you to post if you don't. it's not an extremely terrible starting point you have no excuse>>42722804fagvoice but very light which is good here's me: https://voca.ro/1elxmS1UTN8z
>>42722877Thanks a lot tho<3 I'm trying to get an acceptable voice. I think I can go visually unnoticed in public, but I don't want to girlmode if I'll still sound like an ogre lmao
>>42722877>https://voca.ro/1elxmS1UTN8z i, too, wish i could sing. at least your speaking voice is good though
https://voca.ro/1oJWOowcCIYbthoughts on the song so far?you all sound beautiful to me.
>>42721195still a bit too airy and sounds too much like falsetto but you're getting there :)(francoid detected)>>42721614your voice is great!!!>>42721861passnvke how do you do that>>42722877you're on the right track i think! i don't really know what's missing tho :(advice on mine? im desperateeee and i feel like pic related when i speak i actually want to kms over this shithttps://voca.ro/15cYsURNNL9E
>>42724185I think it sounds nice. Could easily pass as a cis voice in casual situations. I'm can't really give u advice but if you practice more you will be a gigapassoid
dis me https://voca.ro/1m6QRBUtSkp9>>42724185solid voice, androgynous at worst>>42722877you sound like a young woman>>42722730you sound like you haven't voice trained, you should voice train>>42722050sorry, you should be working on your resonance and so should the girl abovehave a wonderful day, humans
https://voca.ro/1hp3X5lGcMx4>>42722877this is like quite good!! just a little weight/resonance. the pitch is good and everything is already almost there!!>>42723600not the kind of thing im into. to be honest . its like fine>>42724185euroid detected!!! i think its a little in need of better resonance more than Anything else>>42725430passes quite well but i might be genuinely stupid because it takes actual concentration to understand what you are saying. not like youre using complicated words, like its a little hard to distinguish certain sounds in your accent.. who knows though!!!
https://voca.ro/1x9QWOaKRIpP>>42724185for some reason this sounds almost like, like ai or something, but i can tell it's not. i think it's something about your microphone it's like the frequency is off. i feel like you absolutely sound like a woman though. a deeper voiced women then most women not very bright but definitely a woman, i can't imagine this being a guy. i don't think it's missing anything actually. >>42725488im so jealous im so jealous im so jealous idk how you did it. im so jealous. you sound great!!! ive heard you before for sure you sound familiar. you sound perfect. im so jealous :( . I miss when i had breast pains like that too, i didn't eat enough and they stopped and now im flat forever and i ruined my transition and im gonna DIE and EVERYTHING IS WRONG and you have a wonderful voice <3>>42725430you pass too omg everybody passes tonight. I wish i could do silly voices like that you sound so formal and like, you sound like a character in something. i wish i could do that. this passes perfectly this voice-actor-passes. its so impressive. everyone's so impressive tonight. everyone but me>>42723600this feels really mean to say but, since youre asking for thoughts, i don't really like it :\ . sorry :(>>42725488
>>42725555idk how i messed up i accidentally linked to that one message twice im sorry. disregard the 2nd one it was just a misclick or something

>>42722804im sorry, im not sure youre all the way there yet, but i think you're close. i can picture the kind of woman this voice belongs to and she is a woman. im not sure what it is i dont know what advice to give you. maybe it's "resonance"? im not sure. in any case it's time for you to do FULL-hearted voice training for the next year. I believe in you so much i feel like youre already like 75% of the way there.>>42722877totally passes and is cute and is feminine and woman but it does sound a little online like uwu vtuber whatever, not really, just a tiny little bit. just a little. that's not necessarily a bad thing. youre not disgusting at all. not even a little bit. you sound really good there's like nothing wrong here at all. you sound great. im sorry how hard the world is on you it makes me so upset i don't blame you for feeling bad but i hate the world for letting you you should get like a billion dollars for free as compensation. if i was in charge id give you a billion dollars. or like, 10 million. a billion is probably too much for anybody to have. >>42722730>I just want some opinions for how I sound nowi always feel so cruel telling people they don't pass but i know it can be helpful. it sounds male, im sorry. sounds like no voice training and no real effort being made to sound feminine. it sounds gentle. i can hear the divine feminine in you i've met plenty of trans women who sound like you. something about it is a little cute maybe. but im afraid without context it does sound much more like a man than like a woman. it doesn't have to forever though>>42722050im sorry penny youre super pretty but i wouldn't consider your voice passing. just keep training this sounds super early on, probably most people sound a little bit like you at the starti wanted to respond to everyone but i got bored im sorry if i didn't respond to you im sorry its not you, it's not that i don't like your voice i just didn't even listen to it. im gonna go eat icecream
>>42725632>yess you sound friendly + passthamkyou so much>you just sound a little breathy, you sound cute. good pitch and weight..!!i don't even know what "weight" is desu but i will try my best to breathe less>no need to be sorrythankyou imsorry...

I'm don't have enough experience to give you advice I think but maybe we struggle on the same things, resonance and weight>>42722804Yeah my voice is still too heavy, I'll focus on vocal weight thanks! :) Your voice is pretty close I think? Don't really know what would be missing>>42724185Ahaha can't hide my accent, thanks I'll work on that! Your voice is quite good there are cis girls that sounds like this, maybe resonance I'd say?
the thread can't die with me as the last post its not fair its so not fair come on please arent there any other voice trainers on this board?
this is bullshit!!!
Obv a goddess, you are probably super pretty irl and people are jealous over you in like every way(other than the misfortune of being born trans).

hello voicegen. videos from the last general are psyching me out. specifically the "8 Exercises to Reduce Vocal Fold Mass" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PNnBRBfOVY&t=146s seems to conflict with "How to make your voice feminine. No head voice. No falsetto." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6ro2R3esHA or maybe the followup video from the description?she said you want to project sound from the bottom of your throat instead of your chest, but not your head/nose? and then the other is saying "reduce vocal fold mass" means head voice but they dont like that phrase. so the question i have is when vocalizing should there be no vibration in the throat? half the stuff in the 8 exercises seems voiceless so theres no vibration but itsnot like that when speaking right? or does vibration at the bottom of the larynx mean im doing it wrong? its hard for me to tell if i am doing thick/thin vocal fold mass but i think i can mimic her pretty well. i watched her video like 4 times now and i cant figure it out any tips plsand the second question i had was exactly how much would you estimate your adams apple moves from masc voice to fem? like 1-2cm or fingers width? or the same as much as when you swallow cause for me thats like double or more the distance and much much more difficult. she said theres like a shelf?

bump why is this gen dead noooo
bumping but i know it's pointless
i just want some damn voice feedback fuck sake
>>42741740>>42739961>>42738518>>42736379breaking: chud bumps thread 4x in a row>>42733296it doesnt sound awful u just have a sorr of bad pitch + resonance combo. you have good speech latterns
>>42742291I'm a bit confused what do you mean the combo are they both bad or like it's one or the other or what?
>>42743052they make u sound clocky together... but having a better resonance would fix it
https://voca.ro/1jvw8MB2kaTkcan ppl please critique? what do i need to fix to be more like >>42721861
>>42743813if u wanna sound like that you have to have a combination of luck + practice singing
https://voca.ro/1cYLGiwplIRgIs it close? Or andro territory? I'd offer advice to others here, but idk what the fuck I'm doing lol. Appreciate any feedback
>>42742291not the same person lolyou think thread should just die cause people are sleep?
https://voca.ro/1fUMMl4OJe1M
https://voca.ro/116UpJmWCxMd i think i did a good job here, well, this as something i sent to someone but i was going for something more andro (im mtf), i didnt mind sounding a bit boy-ish here (im awake since like half an hour)
>>42733476your voice sounds like you should rate other people>>42743813hmm, interesting voice, maybe rating other people would help?>>42744261rating other people i think would probably bring you closer to what youre looking for>>42745752hmmm, it's a little hard to make out when you haven't rated other people, maybe if you tried that it might give me a clearer view to base my thoughts on?>>42746913i can tell youre trying your best but i think there's one area of your voice you're neglecting that would make a really big difference for you, it's called: rating other people
>>42747468maybe you should rate other people who rated other people?
bump
I still have no idea where to even start with voice training TwTIs there like a voice training starter kit someone knows of? I never sang or anything so I dont know any of the terminology either..
So how come a bunch of faceless 4chan tranners can have such gigapassoid voices and YouTube tranners making tutorials have this weird tranny voice?
>>42752825you gotta call out who you think the passoid voices are!! they wanna know!!also, probably because the people specifically in the voice training group are the ones that want to work on their voices the most, which most trannies are not
>>42753074Im not that anon but I think everyone passes in this thread. Except for me LMAO
>>42726799>I'm training a lil bit every dayyoull make tons of progress and youre already getting into it, keep it up
>>42752825It's 50% luck how much behaviour can change your voice, and it's easier starting younger (less social conditioning). I think most trans influencers are 25+?It's also kind of fluid what a good voice sounds like - a lot of women 5+ years in have very androgynous voices that are carried by mannerisms or appearance.Hunter Schafer is a good example of someone who has kind of a teenage gay boy voice, but it reads as quirky/cute to most people instead of male.
>>42752825we need to know which ones of us you're talking about please, please>>42753074this

>>42725488 holy fuck what exercises do you do?
https://voca.ro/15Be8ktdMsg7had voice lessons for a few months last year but failed due to lack of compliance. literally can't stand to open my mouth nowadays. however, in the last few weeks trying to hold myself to a higher standard and make a recording at least once a day. this was the best one i felt from this periodfirst time posting my voice anywhere :| any tips would be much appreciatedquestion: how do you guys deal with frustration if you think you have times when it comes out as acceptable, but still can't get there day to day? that makes me feel worst than just not trying desu.
>>42759099>very good for two weeks i thinkhow would you gender it?
>>42760193woman for sure, to me it passes (though im a pretty bad judge)
>>42760060it's mostly about being consistent. i think i sound better than a lot of people who are the same starting age + same time on hrt as me because ive been consistently voice training since i was like 15. really though, you just have to be doing it every day. i mostly only trained through singing in the car on the way to and from work/school as soon as i started driving. i was originally only comfortable singing tenor and baritone (like real frank sinatra shit) and i could do some tenor if i really strained myself so i tried matching songs a little higher than my range until i was completely comfortable and repeated until my current voice. eventually i moved to female singers too and got forced to work on my resonance/weight if i wanted to match them. now i mostly listen to alto/low end soprano women, and im still kinda trying to push up a little higher, but not as much as i did when i was younger. i feel like rn i need to get better resonance and less nasalmost of those "voice training exercises" arent the best way to train imo; once you get the ability to consciously control your larynx and a mild understanding of the way speech works, its best to just try imitating. and the best way/least frustrating to imitate songs where you know what notes to hit and what words to say. in my opinion, of course

https://voca.ro/13qsmJgfcuYimy irl trans friend says I have a terrible voice that gets me clocked instantlyguess I'll be hanging out in this gen for a while...will rate others after work
>>42767928I think it sounds fine to me? Like sure, there are times where I feel like you're straining your voice but it sounds mostly female to me. Is your friend a perfectionist? What does her voice sound like?
>>42755342ty!
>>42721195does anyone have voicetraining resources. i'm currently a repper but idk i would like to voicetrain to make myself feel a little better.
>>42760181Practice seems most important for you? Need to become consistent and comfortable with your voice so you can express feminine vocal manerisms. With being discouraged, conside4 that before you could Never sound the way you do now, and the only reason you sound the way you want sometimes is becaise you continue to practice and put in effort. Don't feel bad you can't do it all the time suddenly, of course you vant! But but but! Over time you can have more and more of your voice be the way you eish over the day.Keep up the effort and.practice, its voice training and you'll never just find skmething that makes it click, consisinet TRaInNINg!
>>42769348i highly recommend selene's archive. i was able to get a decently feminine voice in a very short period of time thanks to that website
>>42770636ty :) i'll be sure to bookmark it
Does anyone watch LiB? Bri’s voice unironically would not be a passing tranny voice

https://voca.ro/1dwHzXVIJYqQi just typed out full responses for like 20 people and my page reloaded and deleted it. whateverrr>>42767928your voice sounds great, maybe a little too much weight. i wish we heard you speaking normally so we could hear your cadence and range>>42760181honestly not great pitch or weight passing-wise, but if youre only a couple of weeks' training from your initial baseline voice, the weight is really good and the pitch matches it well for this stage of training. good luck!! youll probably be fully passing in the next few months. maybe>>42773748it might be because instead of training yourself to be able to sound like that on your own, youre becoming able to match exactly what you hear but without being able to make it without another stimulus. if you use very high volumes try turning them down so your voice is much louder than the singer and make the pitches and resonance youre expecting without copying off the singer simultaneously. if that makes sense
>>42773952>if that makes senseyeah that does make sense i obviously listen to it loud on purpose lol. will try it out thanks
>>42730501Me https://voca.ro/1owH9JbACA8DShort clip I know, but outside of random cat sounds and stuff my friends have harvested from our calls, this is about as cute as I end up sounding.Just set up my quest 3 for vrchat and promptly got invited by a man from Dubai into a private room.
