this is correct albeit dysphemistic (if somebody similar to me enjoys something, i am more inclined to try it because that's evidence i'll enjoy it too, not just to fit into a community).
it doesn't explain how new vegas first became a tranny thing, though, which is impossible to state without people thinking you're a trans supremacist. the actual explanation for it is, as far as i can tell, that preferring FONV to FO3 became a tranny thing because trans people on average have better taste than cis people. this is not to say that no cis people have good taste, but only that among cis people you would get many people who would answer FO3, while among trans people it would be almost none.
of course this is all irrelevant at this point because these are practically retro games and zoomers and younger haven't played them unless it's because they're trannies and heard NV was a tranny game.
