The only trans people who aren't forced to be "insane leftists" usually tend to be the ones who live more as hermits, because they'll be just as disillusioned with the community as you are. Being trans is still a minority, and this minority ironically leaves less room for differences maybe because the collective spirit of trans people has a (somewhat rightfully) paranoid drive to continue persisting. A lot of people are going to be pretty shallow because of this. I've been trooning out for 4 years now but I was not raised in western culture. I don't use any algorithmic based social media outside of youtube.

I highly suggest you go outside more and interact with regular people, or interact with non western cultures to see their thoughts on LGBT, because there are huge cultural differences in different parts of the world. You will probably have a much higher opinion of LGBT people in general if you interact with a broader community rather than solely the western ones, or the ones around you.

I've mentioned this before and I'll mention it again, countries that see LGBT as a political issue (either good or bad, think american conservatives/dems, or even fucking saudi arabia for that matter) will always have issues with LGBT acceptance, and countries that don't give a shit about LGBT politically will generally have much higher social acceptance compared to their legal acceptance. This pattern can be seen on equaldex (LGBT Equality Index)

Don't lose faith in the overall transgender community because you saw the ugly vocal minority, broaden your worldview and see the good in people.
