Alright, pink pill me on hrt. Pros, cons, should I or not, why not, personal experience, technical stuff or what ever you feel like saying about it, also it's predominantly about mtf hormone journey, but ftm are welcome too to share.
>Why are you asking this?
Been thinking about it, wondering if it's worth trying for a bit.
>>
>>42774228
it's worth trying if you have gender dysphoria.
>>
>>42774228
Worth trying if you have the tiniest most infinitesimal curiosity because the risks of unaddressed dysphoria are much more severe than a month of lower T if you end up not wanting it.
>>
>>42774269
Yeah you can do a PCT protocol bodybuilders do to restore natural testosterone production if you don't like it
>>
>>42774228
pros: look younger, better skintone, less oily, less visible pores, could really get rid of acne if you struggle with it, opportunity to aggresively regrow hairline when stacked with dut+min, also some wrinkle reduction, and collagen boost
cons: booba, conetits, no longer producing thick streams of white coom, going down full-on tranny rabbit hole and getting ffs and getting bogged, brainworms, etc.

>>42774269
I don't really know what gender dysphoria is. But I guess closest thing to it that I might have would be body dysphoria, as I hate mirrors and avoid getting any pictures taken of me.
>>42774320
I thought your body restores T production naturally when you stop taking hrt
>>42774407
>look younger, better skintone, less oily, less visible pores
Sounds fun
>booba
How noticeable?
>conetits
Cone shape tits? That's horrifying
>no longer producing thick streams of white coom
Ehhhh, the chances of me using it are very slim, so who cares
>brainworms
???????????
>>
>>42774551
>brainworms
>??????????
estrogen is made of worms
>>
>>42774551
>How noticeable?

It depends on what you are taking, how much, and how your body reacts to it. There is no definitive answer for how fast you will grow boobs or how noticeable they will be. But typically they will become noticeable to a point after a year or two, and sometimes they are conetits.

Pro:
- better hair
- younger look for longer
- more gender expression options in terms of clothing (if done right for long enough to get the fat redistribution effect)
- wider emotion expression (not everyone agrees this is a positive, but it is for me)
- may make you more androphilic (some find this an issue, I'm a bifag so to me it was a plus)
Con:
- infertility (restored fully if you stop, most of the time)
- boobs in 10-15% of the cases (the overwhelming majority of users of estrogen get little or no growth that can easily be hidden)
You don't have to adopt the ideology. Estradiol is a product like any other. If you like its effects, you keep doing it. If you don't, then you stop.
Been on it for 11 years and in my late 30s I'm still assumed to be in college.
You don't have to "girlmode" (I do, occasionally). You don't have to go through the humiliation ritual of social transition. Heck, you don't have to do pretty much anything from the tranny stack if you don't want to (I did get light ffs tho).
>>
>>42774228
it's about personal responsibility, do it or don't do it, u don't need to be this or that or w/e just make ur own decision
that said, anything u conclude from it, about transition, gender, sex, and everything else only really applies to urself
if u don't have the same experience others have, that's too bad, there are all kinds of ppl and reasons for those differences
it's also not magical, so if u make no effort it will also look like u made no effort, even when other ppl look like they're born w/ it, 99.99% of the time it's also maybeline or w/e

Based hrtwink

>>42774228
if you have gender dysphoria it'll help you manage your gender dysphoria
the cons are that you have to deal with the american medical system on a regular basis and the boobs + penis combo makes public spaces a lot more stressful
>>
>>42774551
Here this pic basically shows what hrt alone does to your face (no surgery, or makeup), this person was on for 2 years I believe. right is after.
>>
>>42774763
honestly, on the right, those are some of the dreamiest eyes i've ever seen
>>
>>42774551
>I thought your body restores T production naturally when you stop taking hrt
It does but it takes time, if you do PCT it will be back asap
>>
>>42774763
>estrogen booked laser hair removal, plucked their eyebrows, and put on moisturizer
Oof
>>
>>42774551
>as I hate mirrors and avoid getting any pictures taken of me.
yeah, that's part of it. Personally I hated mirrors because I never saw myself in them, just some stupid boy I'd never met, like a brother I'd never known. 3 weeks of estrogen and I started to see the girl I am for the first time
I still dont do pictures well, it feels weird to force a smile

there are many worse things than trying E for a month and seeing how you feel

So like on smaller doses, it shouldn't do any major deformations, because I'm not thinking about going full tranny mode. I'm leaning towards androgyny, where I could switch to "girlmode", but most of the time people would see me as a twink-ish man, they kind of already do when I'm clean shaven.
>the overwhelming majority of users of estrogen get little or no growth that can easily be hidden
Good to hear, as the most I would want are those boobs where you need to intentionally make a pose or curve out your spine for them to be seen.
>better hair
Lol, I already got better hair then my mom and sisters
>>42774616
>cons are that you have to deal with the american medical system
Nuh-uh "I IS ESL GOD" I don't live US, hehehe. Fuck I don't live in US, pretty sure there's no legal way for me to get hrt in my shithole.
>>42774763
>No makeup
Oh come on, I lived with my sisters long enough to know how much makeup goes into "no makeup look". Also eyebrows are clearly plucked. This >>42774945
>>42774970
>never saw myself in them
Maybe that's the diff between gender and body dysphoria.
One can't see themselves in their own reflections, the other one just hate how they look
>>
>>42775076
>as the most I would want are those boobs where you need to intentionally make a pose or curve out your spine for them to be seen.
That's ~50% of users, desu.
Mine are slightly bigger than that (no more topless for me in most situations) but very much manageable.
>So like on smaller doses
You will have to experiment on yourself, desu. Every body is different.
I ended up on a slightly smaller than tranny dose and every 8 days instead of 5. But changed and adjusted multiple times over the years.
Keep in mind that there are other aspects that you may or may not care about. I wanted to keep the horny working so I had to compromise on the speed with which I got the fat redistribution.
>androgyny, where I could switch to "girlmode", but most of the time people would see me as a twink-ish man
You can do that for a while, but it's the kind of intermediary state that lasts even less than twinkish youthful looks.
De facto androgyny is already rare. You can prolong it with hrt, but eventually aging catches up with you. I'm still not there, but will soon be and will have to make a choice on whether I go de facto tranny or make peace with just aging slower in feminine patterns. Tbh both choices are attractive to me atp. But your mileage may vary.
Point being: be realistic with the goals.
HRT isn't magic. It can do certain things, but with trade-offs/compromises.
>Lol, I already got better hair then my mom and sisters
Yes, but you can keep it for longer on hrt.
Both my mom and my dad had beautiful long hair. But my dad at my age already had it short and rough because he couldn't maintain it anymore. Mine is glowey, long and healthy the same as it was 15yrs ago. Clean face and hair gets me clocked as super young all the time.
Sometimes I get accused of identity fraud lol.
