So basically ive been edating a guy for a bit and were gonna meet up in a couple of days. I thought by the time we meet hrt would make me more attracted to males.. But i am still kind of repulsed by them and dont find them attractive looks wise whatsoever. I love him and everything else about him but i genuenly just cant see myself being attracted to a guy. Im able to be attracted to women but 99% of the time they have really boring personalities. And I also get repulsed by the idea of fucking anyone. Just what am i supposed to do now? Im tired of being lonely and having no intimacy ever. Im just hoping its going to change once we get some alone time in his bedroom.

Its so dumb to assume hrt will make you like men, and even dumber to date someone based on that assumption when you're not into them. For both your sakes, cancel on him. It was shitty to do that. Then fix your internalised misogyny so you don't consider women boring anymore and date one. This is so embarrassing for you
>>
>>42778311
don’t force it nona. wait till you actually feel a spark with someone, whether a boy or a girl.
>>
Tbh if you're not into men already hrt doesnt really do anything for sexuality. It could be internalized homophobia or some adjacent bs as well. Maybe you'll find them attractive when you guys get physically closer but HRTdoesnt do that.
Good luck, but maybe you should just be honest.
>>
>>42778346
i dunno, i read basically everywhere that people got more attracted to men from hrt. Like a ton. You cant say that you havent seen anyone talk about that because it just happens so often on both twitter and here. And its not misogyny to not find women interesting that have nothing in common with me 90% of the time. I have someone who i could probably date but dont because of my boyfriend. We go out every now and then and we barely have anything to talk about besides work stuff and whatever but as a friend shes okay i guess
>>
>>42778382
i feel a spark its just not looks wise. I mainly get attracted to people through their personality. Like i said in previous comment, the girl friend i have is pretty attractive but i wouldnt date her because her personality doesnt click with mine and same with interests.
>>
>>42778401
Yeah people talk about that, they talk just about as often about the opposite happening. For most people, their sexuality just stays the same, which you've also undoubtedly seen. It's just on its face a dumb assumption, even if it can happen. You need to get the comphet that made you hope for that out of your head and accept that you have a lot in common with many women, because you are one now. Date your friend if that works and let your guy down gently

Did you have an attraction to men before you went on HRT to begin with?
Usually HRT amplifies the preexisting men attraction , in off cases it CAN completely subvert someone's preference but generally it only amplifies the preference towards men and dulls the preference towards women.
Also HRT effects on your mind may take a while to fully set in.
>>
>>42778346
it's not misogynistic to think women are boring lmao
>>
>>42778346
>Not having a preference for people with boring personalities
>misogyny

Anon effectively said he's fine with the 1% women who don't have boring personalities, that isn't misogyny, that's just standards
>>
>>42778467
i dont really remember anymore desu.. but ive been on hrt for well over 2 years now so i think i got most of the effects already
>>
>>42778493
Yes, it is. But I also don't care to argue that here, it would be pointless. Everything else I've said still stands. OP shouldn't try to force herself to be attracted to someone she isn't, and she'd be a lot happier if she could find a way to date women. Lots of men find most women uninteresting and still manage to find ones they like to date. OP should do that
>>
>>42778520
You might not be in the group that has HRT change their sexual orientation then. Different people different brains
desu you can still love someone if you don't fully love their looks, its why people who are seen as ugly in society still go on to have long term relationships

I feel like this is something you should figure out with him though, and if you're repulsed by the idea of fucking anyone, are you sure you're not just really good friends? Or maybe you're asexual

hard to tell from just one post
>>
>>42778401
do you just not like sex? Why are you using other people's experiences as a step by step guide? Have you ever been attracted to anyone irl? It's helpful ofc, to see how others dealt with the same thing, but it's not an instruction manual.
>>
>>42778550
we've known eachother for prettyyy long so i dont we're just friends because i have feelings for him. Iused to not be so indifferent and i used to be super horny when i wasnt on hrt mainly for women though but ever since hrt i havent had any sexual desires at all especially in the last couple of months. Not even prog changed that and my levels are also very normal.
>>
>>42778646
This is a common case with HRT, it kinda kneecaps your sex drive. Talk to your endo about this, I'm not medically proficient enough to give you advice on this.
For me at least, going on HRT only increased the horny levels but I liked men before I started HRT
>>
>>42778623
im a virgin pretty much, i sucked off a friend once when i got peer pressured by him to take drugs but i dont really remember if i liked it at all or not. I have been attracted to people irl before but its rare since i care abt personality a lot. I cant imagine myself being attracted to someone i dont click with. Most of the time i see an attractive woman irl i just get very envious rather than attracted.
>>
>>42778682
im diy i dont have an endo, i do my bloodtests with a private lab.
>>
>>42778703
Can you get a medically trained professional to examine you?
Otherwise I think there might be some articles on google on how sexual attraction works in MTF transitions, but they might be a really long read
>>
>>42778531
you are retarded, that still stands
>>
>>42778762
i could ask my GP but doubt they will know what to do with me. Im officially still a male
>>
>>42778806
at least I didn't believe going on hrt would magically make me a cock hungry straight woman because I read too many fagslop greentexts before trooning
>>
>>42778839
I'm not talking about OP, you continue to out do yourself, you're a cut above the other retards king of the retards
>>
>>42778691
Well then your attraction might be more motivated by your connection than raw physical appearance or gender or w/e
or maybe you're just asexual or smth.
Trying to sneak past this issue is just a recipe for disaster, but quietly testing things out for a while isn't some kind of crime either. eventually though, if you want this to work with him on any level, you should be fairly honest. Maybe not brutally "you're unfuckable for some reason" honest, but saying you're in a weird space physically while personally wanting things to work COULD help. If you can find some way to avoid the "it's not you, it's me" shit, cause it's easy for someone to take things that way, you'll develop a stronger relationship. You don't have a lot of experience here so it's not a surprise that you're a little blind.
If there was a sex attraction on/off button then churches would be using and proselytizing it
>>
>>42778928
thanks for the advice i really appreciate it <3
>>
>>42778980
ofc nona, if nothing else I hope your time together is a pleasure and a comfort, take care of yourself
>>
>>42778311
If he really loves you he will transition to fix this problem
>>
>>42778311
genuine question: what if he transition? will he become more attractive to you?
