The reason we need this is because in the past you could tell if it was black or white based on if they showed a pic of the shooter. We knew the other 397 of the 400 shootings a year were blacks. Now that they hide the trans shooters in initial reporting we need a way to quickly separate them from the black shooters. Theres a significant risk people will assume all 397 are trans shooters otherwise.
